What is Joe Louis Jones Aka Bobby O'Jay Scared Of?

This morning the radio personality who goes by the name of Bobby O'Jay made some remarks that I would like for him to address. As some callers tried to speak of my appearance on TV in reference to the recall,he stated that he did not want my name called on his show.He stated that I would not receive any publicity from him.But he did allow several callers who wanted to attack me to state their views,even one who incorrectly stated that I should not be talking about a recall since I live at Shelby Drive and Hacks Cross road. I no longer live in the county but in Memphis.

These types of comments go with the terriority,I have a thick skin.Being in talk radio for a number of years allows your skin to get real tough. After one caller told him that the reason he did not want my name called on his show was because he was intimidated by me he decided to give the reason he would not allow my name to be called.

He stated over 50,000 watts,that while I was on the radio I did something to endanger and put at risk him,his wife and family. He did not state what it was that I was suppose to have done.He left the impression that I had done something illegal to him and his family.

I don't care about him not wanting my name called on his show.I understand his insecurity about his show.Bobby has a complex about anyone who could do what he does in the mornings better.Bobby is all show and no substance.His only conversation is about sex and relationships,in fact that's the only conversation that WDIA has.

WDIA brags of being the first black formatted station in the country.But does nothing to inform blacks.They don't discuss issues,because they don't know the issues.They are never at any functions that inform,enlighten,or empower.They only want to tell blacks how to screw,while local government screws us.

What Bobby is upset about is the fact that after he told blacks last year he saw no reason to vote I checked his voting record which is public information,I announced that he had not voted in a while. While he has the right not to vote if he chooses,not voting should not be promoted on the airwaves.

But I think his biggest problem with me is,I revealed his real name,JOE LOUIS JONES.
I stated that maybe the reason he does not want to inform is because he see's himself as only a entertainer.He does not see himself as one who should use the airwaves to fight the injustices of local and national politics.

So JOE LOUIS JONES, did I endanger you when I call you by the name your momma gave you? JOE LOUIS JONES do I put you at risk when I let people know who you really are? How were you endangered? Nobody is after you. You allowed Willie Herenton to call in on your show and tell you "to stop the shit",then when he gets his ass in a crack you allow him to come on and promote himself.Bobby I think you are a coward.

Or was it the time our sons got into it at Southwind Elem and you wanted the parent conference at a time you knew I was on air.Or JOE LOUIS JONES is it the fact that I could walk into your studio and control your audience? Does Clear Channel keep you because they know as long as you're on the air black folk will only be entertained and not informed?

Here's a deal for you,how about a loser leave town match? You'll the program director,give me 12 noon to 2 Mon-fri during a sweeps period.Cut out the music.and I'll beat your numbers. If I lose I'll never try to return to radio and I'll get out of politics. If you lose you give up the morning show.In fact I'll do it for free.If I win I get your show. But you want take it because you know I can beat you at your game. I know you'll say I'm running for public office so it can't be done.But if you agree I'll give up the run for the county commission.

otherwise you need to explain to your audience why you made the slanderous remark about me, of how I endangered and place you and your family at risk.or Clear Channel will hear from me and Javier Bailey
