Doing that revelation the fact that Ford had filed bankruptcy several times came forth, which makes it hard for one to understand how he was able to secure a $750,000 loan to purchase the property which his business is located.
Dennis Churchwell who is under investigation by the FBI for his alleged act of giving Ford free rent in exchange for Ford using his political influence to get zoning for a junk yard that he owns across the street from Ford's funeral home accepted the bid of $750,000 from long time Ford associate Charles Monger of Supreme Lending Group.
How did Ford's credit all of a sudden become good enough to borrow $750,000? If he was struggling just two months ago to come up with $16,000 to pay MLGW,what has changed his financial status so soon? Churchwell states that there was no other bidders on the property that he states is worth $1.4 million so he was glad to receive the offer of $750,000 of which he should receive on Wednesday.
I'm sorry but I don't think that a deal has taken place at all. Here's what I believe happened. Churchwell is under the gun from the FBI for bragging to developer Willie nelson that Ford has never paid him any rent because he was able to use Ford to use his political influence to do him a favor. When this fact went public first on this site and then from other media sources, Churchwell needed a way to either be able to prove that Ford had payed him rent,or get rid of the property.
I think that Ford who did not know just two weeks ago that the property was up for auction cut a deal with Churchwell to keep his mouth closed about their arrangements if Churchwell turned the property over to him. So a auction takes place and no one bids on the property including Nelson who gave earnest money on last year to purchase the property. Ford has a personal friend in the mortgage loan business to tell Churchwell that he will purchase the property for $750,000. With both knowing that an exchange of funds or title will not change hands. This is just a ploy to throw the FBI off.
Maybe I'm wrong but with Ford's credit history I just find it hard to believe that a loan company would lend him $750,000. If you can't purchase a car worth maybe 25-$30,000, how do you purchase property for $750,000? But I will be monitoring to see if the property changes hands later this week.

Here at Stakelbeck on Terror, we're usually up to our ears with new jihadist activities to report. Some days, however, are slower than others (which, if you think about it, is probably a good thing). This is one of those days. Which is why I've decided to blog about a non-radical Islam/Middle East related topic for the first time in a long time.
I do think, however, that given the barbaric, senseless nature of the crime I'm about to describe, it can certainly be classified as an act of terrorism. I'll admit that when I first heard about it a month or so back, I couldn't get it out of my head. I still can't. And with our good friend Michelle Malkin turning in a powerful video blog on the topic yesterday at Hot Air TV, I figured the time was right to tell you the horrific details of the rape, torture, mutilation and murder of two Tennessee college students, 23-year-old Christopher Newsom and 21-year-old Channon Christian.
I'll wager that between the incessant media coverage of the Anna Nicole Smith trial and Paris Hilton's jail sentence, you probably haven't heard about the unspeakably heinous murders of Newsom and Christian. Below are some of the gruesome details, courtesy of Flopping Aces. The two victims were white. The five perpetrators were black. Rest assured that if this scenario were reversed--if the victims were, say, black, Hispanic, or Middle Eastern and the killers white--this story would have been front page news in every major paper and the lead on every network newscast. Somber-faced anchors and commentators would remind us daily about America's deep-seated intolerance and bigotry towards racial and religous minorities. As it stands, Newsom's and Christian's story--which sounds like something straight out of a horror movie--has been told solely on the blogs and in local media outlets.

On Saturday January 6, 2007 Hugh Christopher Newsom, age 23 and Channon Gail Christian, age 21, both students at the University of Tennessee went out on a date.
They were driving in Channon’s Toyota 4-Runner when they were carjacked at gunpoint. Suddenly the crime turned far more savage than an armed car theft. Chris and Channon were kidnapped and driven to 2316 Chipman Street where they were forced into the home at gunpoint. While Channon was forced to watch, her boyfriend was raped prison style and then his penis was cut off. He was later driven to nearby railroad tracks where he was shot and set afire.
But Channon’s hell was just beginning. She was beaten; gang raped repeatedly in many ways, had one of her breasts cut off and bleach poured down her throat to destroy DNA evidence—all while she was still alive. To add to Channon’s degradation the suspects took turns urinating on her. They too set her body afire, apparently inside the residence, but for some reason left her body there—in five separate trash bags.
As mentioned above, the five attackers were African American, the victims white. Does this not qualify for at least consideration as a hate crime? We may never know the killers' motivations--but given the circumstances, isn't it quite possible that race was a factor? Where are Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson? Where are the angry marches, the op-eds, the sanctimonious media appearances, and the national hand-wringing over race relations that we saw from these two and other race baiters in the wake of the Don Imus controversy and the Duke non-rape scandal? Talk about a double standard. Wouldn't Sharpton and Jackson gain legitimacy (which, for Jackson, went out the window long ago; Sharpton never had any) if they spoke out against injustices towards people of all races, not just their own? After all, evil is evil , no matter what color it comes in.
For instance, the three white savages who murdered and dragged James Byrd, a black man, behind a truck in 1998 richly deserved the national outrage and media coverage that followed. Which brings up a point: where the heck is the mainstream media in the Christian/Newsom case? It obviously has all of the sensational, horrifying details that should make it a fixture on the nighttime cable news circuit. Alas, it apparently doesn't have the same "juiciness" for media liberals as the standard white oppressor/minority victim story. Hence, silence.
There's a troubling pattern here. Around the same time the unhinged Michael Richards of Seinfeld fame let loose with his racist rant, an equally damaging racial attack occurred in Long Beach, California. In April, as the Duke rape controversy was hitting full stride, an actual rape--jaw-dropping in its brutality--took place at New York's Columbia University. In both cases, the victims were white and the perpetrators black. Why does this matter? In an ideal world, it wouldn't. We would simply identify these barbaric acts for what they are and prosecute the perpetrators to the fullest extent of the law.
But in today's ultra-politically correct atmosphere, the spectre of perceived racial injustice is always just beneath the surface. Racism still exists in America--among all races. So when something as unspeakably evil as the Newsom/Christian murders occurs, the story needs to be told honestly and openly, without fear of offending aggrieved groups. That's the only way we'll get anywhere on race in this country. By the way, the maddening politically correct mindset that applies to reporting on crime is an absolute albatross in the war against radical Islam as well.
This morning, a Knox County judge set trial dates for the suspects in the Newsom/Christian murders. You have to love the below description by Knoxville's WVLT TV, a prime example of the ultra-PC mindset I'm talking about:
Since the murders were first reported, several white supremacist and racially focused groups have accused both prosecutors and media of covering up what they see as a racially motivated crime, planning to hold rallies this spring and early summer.
In other words, if you dare question whether this was a racially motivated crime, you must be a slack-jawed Klansman--not an everyday concerned citizen with no axe to grind other than a desire to see justice served. Well, tell that to the families of Christopher Newsom and Channon Christian. And tell it to the growing number of bloggers who are beginning to call attention to this awful case.
Teen Arrested in Burger King Stabbing

Police have arrested 16 year-old Kendrick Culp for stabbing his ex-girlfriend and her manager at the Burger King at 8535 Highway 64.
Culp is charged with two counts of aggravated assault and one count of assault-bodily harm. Memphis Police say Culp went to the restaurant pretending to be a family member to coax his ex-girlfriend outside. When the girl went outside, police say Culp confronted her then stabbed her. Her manager was stabbed also when he tried to help.
Both victims were taken to the Med; they were treated and released. Culp was arrested at his home Saturday and taken to 201 Poplar.

I felt the same way when I read the story about a white pastor was raping and killing black women up north years ago. I felt the same way when I read that OJ was kicked out of that restaurant. Accused Rapist Arrested After Victim Spots Him At Home

Memphis police arrest an accused rapist! They say 30 year-old Tyrone Sayles beat and raped a woman near his North Memphis neighborhood on May 10th. He was arrested Saturday night after his victim spotted him standing in front of his house on Ayers Street and called police. On Monday, Sayles was being held at the Shelby County Jail on $100,000 bond.
Police say Sayles tied up, choked, beaten, and anally raped a woman in a field near his North Memphis home on Ayers Street. Police say the rape happened as the victim was leaving a friend’s gathering.
83 year-old Winnie Legrone has lived in the North Memphis area for more than 30 years. She was disturbed by news of the rape. She says, “It's dirty. That's all I can tell you. It's lowdown.”
However, she doesn’t believe she can change her crime ridden neighborhood. When Eyewitness News asked why she doesn’t join together with her neighbors and complain to city officials, Legrone said, “No, I don't care nothing about getting together trying to do this. We can't control this.” Wayne Johnson grew up in the neighborhood around Ayers Street. He says it is time for people in the area to start speaking out about crime. He told us, “You can’t just a keep a closed mouth. A closed mouth don’t get fed.”
However, Eyewitness News found many neighbors who agree more with Legrone than Johnson. Several people say they are upset about the rape, but are too scared to speak out. Other neighbors say the attack doesn’t bother them at all.
Neighbors in the Chickasaw Gardens area had a far different reaction to a rape in their area. They banded together, complained to the mayor, and plan to go to Nashville to push legislators to pass tougher crime laws.
Peace activist Stevie Moore lost his son to violence. He says every community should react the same way the people of Chickasaw Gardens did. Moore says, “I was glad to see citizens organize from Chickasaw Gardens, but my problem is I don't see it in our neighborhoods, the black neighborhoods, I don't see us get this upset about crime in our neighborhood, and I don't think we can really attack the problem until we rally and come together.”

It has been my experience that if you expect to bid at a real estate auction, you had better have a letter of credit from the bank or a cashier's check as down payment.
Did Monger have either of the above? The entire transaction seems a little weird to me. Monger shows up late, makes the only bid and it's for a piece of real estate the owner says is worth 1.5 million. At 5 1/2% with a bank CD you would reap more money with a safer investment and fewer expenses than $7,000 a month in rent. So, it's rental return stinks if it's worth 1.5 million. Just a lot of bull, I say.
I think it is very funny to hear and see Dennis when he said "When I get that green in my hands, the monkey will be off my back". What a trash monkey; I bet your momma is proud to see that you turned out to be the equivalent of a "carnival barker".
Dennis looked like he was about to cry before he got the bid from Grady off of Sanford and son. He said "I can't beleive that no one wants to help me get out of all this mess".
