Just When They Thought It Was Safe Harold Sr. Comes To Town

On October 3,1991 chaos had broken out at the office of the Shelby County Election Commission. It was late at night and tricks were trying to be played to prevent the election of Willie Herenton as mayor of Memphis. The election commission was trying to hide the true voting results and wanted only to show tabulations on paper. The crowd of blacks presents believed that Herenton had won and that the election was about to be stolen. The crowd of blacks present wonder what could be done to force the commission to do the right thing.

Someone in the crowd said "Let's call Congressman Ford" The call was made an then Congressman Harold Ford Sr. arrived and took over the pursuit of justice. Someone with the commission brought out the tabulations which Ford threw to the floor and demanded to see the actual votes from each machine and precinct,the commission refused. Hickman Ewing the U.S. attorney who had indicted Ford just years earlier called and told Ford that what was going on was not his business, but Ford wouldn't be stopped.

Ford had his entourage to man all the doors and not let anyone out,Ford also commandeered the pay phone in the lobby. The door to where the vote results were being hidden was being blocked by Ray Mills of the Sheriff's Department who refused to allow anyone in. Ford went to the phone and made a call to the late Judge James Swearingan who arrived at the Election Commission with his hair all over his head and in his house shoes.

When the judge arrived Mills and his crew knew that the games being played had come to an end,Judge Swearingan demanded that they move away from the door and allow Ford and others in where votes were found that caused Willie Wilbert Herenton to become the first elected black mayor of Memphis. It's more than fair to say had it not been for Harold Ford Sr. Memphis may have never had a black mayor.

Now it's 16 years later and not much has changed since that October night, power broker as in 19991 now again want to raise their ugly heads and oust Herenton not just based on politics but the desire by some white power brokers to return the control of this city to them. Power brokers have conspired, schemed, and even put a plan together to take control of the council in case Herenton wins on Thursday.

Power brokers have used polls to try and convince Blacks and others in the community that Herenton could not win so that the black vote could be split between Herenton And Herman Morris,while leaving Carol Chumney loose to run up the middle. The anti-Herenton crowd hope that they have worked hard enough to convince black voters to vote for anyone but Herenton. The media has worked hard against Herenton only speaking of the negatives of his tenure without one time presenting anything positive about the current mayor.

One thing that was not expected by the anti-Herenton group was my positioning on Herenton an my returning to radio. This site receives at least 15,000-18,000 hits weekly. Express Yourself which is my radio talk show also carries a large audience of voters. It is no secret that I have used both my venues to try and influence voters to Herenton. As I have stated if I thought that this election was only about politics and what was best for Memphis,and not the agenda of rich power brokers who have decided that they know whats best and will stoop to even illegal means to oust Herenton I more than likely would still be anti herenton. But I know that the agenda of these power brokers are to destroy Herenton so that this city can return to "White Rule" and I will not be a part of that agenda. I will not assist whites in destroying a black man for their selfish benefit.

The second thing that was not expected is the return of Harold Ford Sr. to campaign this week for the re-election of Willie Herenton. Ford who is already in Memphis has promise to help in any way that he can. Harold Ford Sr. has proven time and time again that he is the master at getting out the black vote.

While the Herenton camp is confident at their numbers, you can never be wrong in tighten up the gap. Ford Sr. is looked upon by the elderly as a icon, Blacks in Memphis remember his service as congressman and will rally to do his bidding as he reminds them that blacks in Memphis should never concede power,but enhance it.The Morris and Chumney camps both know that with Harold Ford Sr. working the streets in support of Herenton any chance of getting more black votes is now limited.

While Ford, Herenton, and myself have had our differences politically, we all understand that what is happening in the black community is bigger than Willie Herenton,it's the preservation of black political power that if lost will never return,and on this issue we can lay down our differences and fight together for this cause.

There will be a Political rally held this Tuesday night at Mount Vernon Baptist Church at 6pm to motivate and encourage Herenton supporters To get out the vote. Harold Ford Sr. will be present.

16 Years Ago,The Making Of Black History

Ladies of the Church,Or Ladies Of The Night?

According to a divorce decree filed in may of this year it is alleged that Deniece Andrews and Carmalita (CeCe) Drayton conspired with pastor Sidney P.Malone to have his wife Rochelle Malone admitted to the Peachford Behavioral Hospital in Atlanta Ga. on March 20,2007 so as to rid himself of her so that he could continue his adultress affair with his Executive Assistant Deniece Andrews.

Both of these married women traveled with Sidney P. Malone to Atlanta to be a part of this diabolical scheme pretending to be the sisters of Rochelle Malone. In fact Sidney purchased round trip airline tickets for everyone but his wife who he had no intentions of ever allowing to come back to Memphis. His plan was to use Deniece and CeCe as family members of Rochelle to back up the lies he planned to used to keep his wife in a mental hospital.

According to an Affidavit filed by Dana Mosley an "Assessment Counselor" at Peachford she states that on March 13,2007 at 10:00 am she received a intake call from a man who identified himself as Sidney Malone,seeking information about psychiatric treatment for his wife that he felt needed inpatient treatment. Malone asked Mosley "what he needed to do to have his wife admitted to the inpatient unit."

Mosley went on to state to Malone that she could not guarantee inpatient treatment, a face to face assessment had to be done first. Sidney P. Malone then wanted to know what was the earliest that he could bring his wife into the hospital. He was told by Mosley that the hospital was open 7 days a week,24 hours a day. Malone went on to tell Mosley that he could not get treatment in Tennessee because to many people knew them here and that they needed privacy.

According to the affidavit on March 20,2007 at 4;05pm est. Sidney P.Malone his wife, and Deniece and CeCe who identified themselves to Mosley as sisters of Rochelle arrived in Atlanta at Peachford. Rochelle Malone was asked the usal battery of questions Mosley states and and answered the questions listed on the evaluation without any difficulty. Rochelle Malone stated that she was having a problem with depression and was trying to find the root of her frustration.

Sidney P. stated that his wife has severe anger outburst. Out of Rochelle's presence Sidney P. stated that his wife gets disoriented, delusional, blacks out frequently,acted out at church,has extreme anger outbursts, impulsive spending,crying spells,threaten suicide and has cut her wrists, which were all lies. Sidney P. stated that his wife is delusional and paranoid all the time about helping him start the ministry and about his cheating. Mosley asked the women who were pretending to be Rochelle's sister about Sidney P. Malone's claim an still out of the presences of Rochelle Mosley states that their statements mirrored Sidney's.

Deniece who was described by Mosley as having a browner complexion and shorter hair stated that she felt that her 'Sister" had bipolar disorder. Sidney P. and the "Sister" stated that his wife's mother and two other sisters were perhaps bipolar,they also stated that Rochelle's brothers and uncles were substance abusers and that her father had sufferd from depression. Mosley states in her affidavit that the other sister of lighter complexion (CeCe) did not say much she was just tearful and agreeing with Deniece and Sidney.

This whole episode is a plan by a man and a woman who need Rochelle out of the way so that Deniece can share in the church wealth of Sidney P.Malone, take Rochelle's house and children and claim that Rochelle is crazy and that Sidney needs her comfort. The question must be asked 'does Deniece really want Sidney or has she help put this plan together to gain control of his finances.

Cece who is an attorney for the City of Memphis has joined in on this scheme, of betrayal and criminal fraud which could lead to her being disbarred. It is uncertain what her relationship to Deniece is or whether she was paid by Sidney for her role in this plan to have Rochelle committed.

Agnes Sullivan who is licensed in the State of Georgia to specialize in behavioral health,counseling.group psychotherapy,family therapy,martial counseling,couples counseling and individual psychotherapy, also has filed an affidavit,stating that there is no history of mental disorder or substance abuse in the family of Rochelle Malone. But she does state that Rochelle has allowed herself to be controlled by her first boyfriend Sidney Malone. the affidavit also states that Sidney was physically and abused by his father,and that he has an older brother who suffers from depression.

The affidavit also reveals that Rochelle has left Sidney several times for abuse, but his mother apparently instrumental in their reconciliation would always tell Rochelle that "a wife should never leave her husband".

Another Affidavit was filed by Dr. Valerie Honablue a psychiatrist who treated Rochelle and her summary was:

Based upon my interactions with and treatment of Mrs. Malone,it is my professional opinion that she is not suffering from either a mood disorder or personality disorder that would render her a threat to herself or to her children. In my observation of her,i did not witness any symptoms or behaviors that were consistent with her husband's reports. What i did observe was her unwavering desire to please her husband and to return home to be with her children to the point that she was following his directions unquestioningly. As was revealed in her psychological testing,her tendency towards relinquishing control over to others and her desire to please others even at her own expense made her particularly vulnerable to her husband's control over her. It is also likely that years of living with such a domineering,overbearing,and powerful man fostered her self-defeating dependency on him.


In many ways it was obvious that Mrs. Malone has surrendered control over her life to her husband. He has assumed responsibility for all of the major decisions that were made during the course of my intersections with her to the point where it seemed that he felt entitled to make such decisions unilaterally (hospitalization,remaining in Georgia,purchasing her a car and condo,etc.) It is highly unlikely,that a passive and dependent individual such as Mrs. Malone could "traumatize" a man like Mr. Malone who seems quite facile at taking advantage of and manipulating others to achieve his own ends. It is with great professional certainty that I state that Mrs. Malone is not a threat to her children and I remain firm in my resolution to support Mrs. Malone in her legal battle for access to and custody of her children.

Deniece Andrews and CeCe conspired with Sidney P. Malone to commit a criminal act in trying to defraud Rochelle Malone. CeCe Drayton as an officer of the court knew that a criminal act was being performed,by even more than that these two women of the church who are both married knew that what they were doing was wrong in the sight of God. What is it that Deniece has that is so good that Sidney would lose all to have her? Is her sex the best that he has ever had. Is she so freaky that she does tricks with her lips and vagina that has this "man of God' whupped? When Rochelle breaks him will Deniece still want him?

How Much Will John Elkington Be Allowed To Steal?

John Elkington since 1983 has been employed by Beale Street Development Corporation to collect rent,and to maintain the upkeep of the Historic district. BSDC and the City of Memphis according to contracts from the Federal government which gave $22 million to redevelop the street are equal partners. BSDC which holds the master leases on all the buildings with the exception of one for 52 years is to receive all the rent from the street, pay Elkington 15% management fee and turn in what is due to the city. Only problem John Elkington since 1983 has never turned in any money.

Many merchants on Beale street are concerned about how the city has allowed Elkington to pocket the millions that have been collected,and how he has been allowed to create other streams of revenues without a contract by the city or BSDC. It is believed that Elkington has stolen tens of millions of dollars from the street to use for his private use and for other venues around the country.

According to his contract with BSDC Elkington has no authority except that given by the organization, but has been able to tie BSDC in litigation who has attempted to fire him and his company Performa Entertainment and Real estate,while pocketing all the rent money and other monies that come from the street.

According to documents that I have in my possession from sources on Beale, there is $123,534.00 paid monthly in rent from the merchants on the street,which Elkington is keeping all of. Not on that but the merchants pay a "Common Area" fee which is paid for the upkeep of the street,which Elkington takes 15% of. The Beale Street merchants also pay $290,920.00 for security of which Elkington takes 15% of,which is $34,488.00 that he puts in his pocket.

John Elkington also is pocketing all the advertising fees from signs being placed on buildings that he does not own or have the leases on. Casino's and Pepsi is paying hefty advertising fees to Elkington to paint there logo's on buildings or place their banners,even Clear Channel has billboards on buildings.

Elkington was able to convince someone in the Park division to give him Handy Park for his own personal use for just "ONE DOLLAR" per year. Elkington has turned the park into his own personal entertainment venue where he keeps all the proceeds rents out space and has sold Pepsi the naming rights. I wonder how much Pepsi is paying Elkington for all they're receiving off the street. In fact according to sources in all the new leases that Elkington is providing only Pepsi products can be sold in the new businesses that purchase space on the street.

BSDC whose budget has never been approved by the either Willie Herenton or Dick Hackett has left this Black organization fighting to maintain on the street. But it's time for Willie Herenton to step up to the bat and not only support the budget of BSDC but also protect the interest of the city by supporting a federal investigation into what has John elkington done with the money from Beale street and why has he been allowed to violate a federal contract, by not passing on all monies to BSDC as mandated in the contract between the Federal government, BSDC, and the city of Memphis. The government should also investigate as to if Elkington has used funds from Beale Street to finance his ventures in other cities around the country.

Several months ago Elkington moved his office where he had free rent from Beale Street to a location in east Memphis. It is believed that Ricky Peete who headed the Beale Street Merchants Association for many years and who is now facing a prison sentence has rolled over on Elkington giving the FBI information that could lead to an indictment. It is no doubt that Peete was aware of the shady dealings of Elkington and more than likely has given the Fed's this fish to reduce his sentence.

John Elkington and his wife Valerie Calhoun of FOX 13 live very, very, well,but is this lavish lifestyle due to the fact that they're living off stolen money?

Has WREC Joined In With Power Brokers Against Willie Herenton?

For several years I have called in regularly to Andrew Clarksenior's program on WREC,and never had a problem getting on his show,in fact during the recall I was given the hot line number (433-3214) to insure that I was able to by pass other callers to be able to have my comments heard on air.

But since I have not been on the attack against Willie Herenton and have declared that I will not support power brokers in their attempt to oust Herenton, I am no longer allowed to voice comments on WREC. On yesterday a caller(Kathy) eluded to me in her comments which i could tell had come from her listening to my show,so I decided to call in using the hotline number. I was told by Ms. Hardeman that a memo had went out by the program director stating that I was no longer allowed to voice comments on WREC. in fact no host is even allowed to call my name.

WREC should be very careful with this action that could cause legal actions. Clarksenior's program is not purchased time as with my program that airs on KWAM, he is an employee of the station that opens up it's airwaves to the public to be allowed to give comments. As the licensee holding a license from the FCC no station is allowed to discriminate on public airwaves.

Clarksenior was correct on yesterday when he stated that he can not endorse candidates, the FCC does not allow an employee of a station to endorse on public airwaves. My program on KWAM is purchased by me and comes under a different set of rules. I am allowed to endorse because I have purchased the time from the station and have no employment ties to the station,which is the reason that the station does a disclaimer.

It's apparent that WREC has joined in with power brokers to make sure that it's listeners are not allowed a chance to voice their support of Herenton. In fact on yesterday Clarksenior went on a rant concerning comments that he stated were racist by Herenton in a speech made in Orange Mound on last week,when a caller (Common) who is a Herenton supporter called in Clarksenior demanded that Common comment on the statements. When Common stated that he had not heard the comments and didn't want to comment on something that he was unaware of, Clarksenior nearly came unglued demanding that he make a comment anyway,stating that herenton's comments were racist and that he should have a comment. When Common insisted that he would not comment on statements he had not heard, he was told to call another day.

Several calls later a Morris supporter called in who just happen to be riding with Herman Morris who was allowed to make comments. Clarksenior even put Morris on the phone to promote his race. While Clarksenior stated that he didn't invite the call,I don't buy it. It's my belief that Clarksenior or someone else in management had Morris call in to push his campaign. Clarksenior asked Morris where he was on his way to, and Morris replied that he was on his way to Bishop Byrne,which he did not go because I drove over just to see.

WREC cannot use the excuse that the reason that I'm not allowed to call in is because I also am a radio talk show host, because radio talk show host Jennings Bernard calls in weekly. Besides that fact when I call in I call in as a private citizen not as a talk show host. It is my belief that this station has joined in with power brokers to limit the calls from supporters of Herenton which is discrimination on public airwaves. I have not been given a reason by this station as to why I as a private citizen has been barred from a public program produced by the license holder. But I can assure them that Clear Channel will give me an answer or receive a lawsuit.

At 1:50 pm after listening to Clarksenior disussing my opinions on Herenton I had someone else call the station using the name "Joe Willie" so I could get on. As soon as I was punched in and gave my name he stated " I can't talk to you" and hung up. The audience because of the 7 second delay was unable to hear it, but I recorded it. I can assure WREC that there will be legal retribution .

A caller ask Clarksenior who he should vote for, Clarksenior stated that he couldn't tell him who to vote for but ask him did he know what A.B.H. mean the caller stated that he went to school in the county and didn't know what ABH meant. Clarksenior replied " Anybody But Herenton" Damn, WREC Clarksenior just dug your grave.

Herenton Supporters Ready For a Win

in a rally held at the Whitehaven Shopping Plaza several hundred Herenton supporters declared that they are ready to take to the streets this week to insure a massive win on Thursday for Willie Herenton. In the midst of fun, food, and a live band, the crowd stated there unchanging desire to see Herenton return to the mayor's office for a fifth term.

The mayor will be taking his campaign to the streets this weeks galvanizing his supporters and making sure that they have a way to the polls on October 4 to insure that his win over Herman Morris and Carol Chumney sends a message to power brokers that they no longer have the power to choose leadership for the people.

Mychal Bell Has Been Released

Mychal Bell walked out of the LaSalle Parish Courthouse into freedom Thursday after being jailed for 10 months for the December beating of a white Jena High School student.
Members of his family, including his mother, Melissa Bell, and his father, Marcus Jones, who had been at the courthouse for more than three hours waiting for his release, cheered when the former high school running back walked out wearing a big grin.
Bell and his family did not comment after his release.

Just before the 17-year-old Bell appeared in public, plainclothes officers with the State Police checked out a man in the crowd who was reported to be “suspicious.”
This came on the heels of threats broadcast on Web pages and online radio shows against the six black teenagers and their families.

Bell was released after Dr. Stephen Ayres, a medical doctor who has clinics in Baton Rouge, Lafayette and Lake Charles, posted the $5,400 needed to get Bell out of jail — or the 12 percent of the $45,000 bond set for Bell’s release.
It took several hours to get Bell released from an Alexandria detention center and brought to Jena.

The Rev. Al Sharpton, who waited for Bell’s release at the courthouse with Martin Luther King III, said the first thing Bell wanted to do was pray.“Then second thing he wants is eat some ribs,” Sharpton said.Bell held hands with his father and Sharpton while Sharpton led Bell and his family in prayer outside the courthouse.

During the prayer, Sharpton said the “prayers and cries of people all over the land” had been heard and led to Bell’s release.The case of the Jena 6 rocketed to the public eye over the last several months, drawing national and international media attention.

Finally, up to 50,000 people poured into Jena on Sept. 20 from across the country to support Bell and the five other black defendants accused of beating white Jena High School student Justin Barker Dec. 4.The demonstration was praised because the thousands of people who literally filled the streets of downtown Jena were peaceful.“There wasn’t even a report that a window was broken,” Sharpton said. “

Coming Sunday: How Much Will John Elkington Be Allowed To Steal?

Since 1983 JohnElkington has been employed by The Beale Street Development Corporation to manage the Historic District that is the largest tourist attraction in the state of Tennessee. His contract with BSDC calls for him to collect rent,take out 15% for his services and turn the balance over to the organization that solely has a equal partnership withe city of Memphis?

On Sunday I will ask why is it that since 1983 John Elkington has never turned over one dime of the rent money that he has collected to BSDC,which in turn can not give the city its share of the proceeds.

I will also asked why Elkington has violated his contract and went in business for himself using proceeds from Beale Street to finance projects around the country,I also wan to know how is it that Elkington is receiving all the proceeds from having signs painted and placed on buildings on Beale. I further want to know how he's able to take 15% of the nearly $300,000 that the merchants are paying for security.

I think the community also needs to know why Elkington also takes 15% of the common area fees fees that's paid to keep the street clean. Plus we need to know how Elkington was allowed to Have Handy Park and make all the money off any event held there. Plus how much is Pepsi paying to have their name on the park. Sources on Beale state that a mandate has been created in all new leases that state that all new businesses can only sell Pepsi products.

BSDC received $22 million from the Federal government that has given them control of the district for 52 years, and the theft and nonpayment on money received off the street by Elkington is a federal crime. Elkington suddenly moved his office off Beale several months ago. some say it's because Ricky Peete who handled the street for merchants for years has rolled on him and trouble for Elkington may be coming down the pike.

The big question is where is the money? Has Elkington and his TV wife Valerie Calhoun been allowed to live off the proceeds that belong not only to BCDC but the citizens of Memphis. I have received documentation from sources that prove that Elkington has collected millions and millions of dollars and has kept the money for himself........Stay tune for Sunday.

The Communty,Not Polls Is What Herenton Knows Will Get Him Re-Elected

Forget the polls Willie Herenton and his camp will again play the song that got him to the dance. Friday and Saturday will produce community rallies near early voting sites that will allow those who have not voted a chance to vote. No matter whether the latest poll shows Herenton in the lead or not,those close to the Herenton campaign know that polls mean nothing at all especially to Herenton's base.

While Yacoubian poll was conducted among 395 persons,no one that I know was contacted, and since there are over 200,000 registered black voters in Memphis The Herenton camp is not moved by the poll at all,and care only about the numbers that have been to the polls to vote during early voting,and those who will vote on October 4.

The best way to get numbers is to go get them and thats the way the last two days of early voting will be conducted. Plans are already in place to ensure that every person that wants to vote for the mayor will get that chance.

One thing I found out today in a meeting of white businessmen is the fact that there is still a base of white support that the mayor has. In fact the business men took 10 employees to the poll while our meeting was going on and the employers all support Willie herenton. The group of white stated that there is a percentage of whites who will vote for Herenton but deny there vote to there white friends.

This race will come down to a Herenton/ Chumney match,where with 18& "don't know it votes" lingering I predict that this time next week Willie herenton will have been elected to a fifth term as mayor. Herman Morris will not be able to garner enough black votes to win,while whites will split their votes between Morris and Chumney. Plus you ad the factor of John Willingham being in the race and having the republican endorsement,this to will pull white votes away from both Chumney and Morris.

So those of you who are crazy enough to believe polling numbers,understand that polls don't vote, people do, and many in the black communty don't believe in morris at all and look at him as a person in the race to give the race to white power brokers who want control of local politics.

Castillo Is As Guilty As She Says Holt-Ware Is

In a story that Action News 5 stated would only be seen on their station,District 7 candidate Veronica Castillo sent a hand delivered letter to the Shelby County Election Commission stating that Barbara Holt-Ware should not be on the ballot due to the fact that Ware owes property taxes.

Castillo who was bought off by Karl Schledwitz and David Upton must be listeners of 'Express Yourself" because I stated last night that her fellow political slave Henry Hooper should not be allowed to run based on the fact that Hooper owes the IRS $400,000. This all comes about due to a point I made about the city charter that states that a person owing taxes could not run for city council. The city attorney believes that because the portion of the charter that states that a candidate should not be arrears in taxes is in the editors note and not a portion of the code that it may not apply.

It is true that Ware does owe property taxes,in fact she owes 2007 taxes of $345.42 for property at 1636 Sydney,and $462.58 for 2007 and $511.16 for 2006 for property located at 1930 Walker. The Walker address which is owned by Ware is the resident of Ware's son who has lived in the home for 18 years with his family. It is no doubt that Castillo is correct when she says that Ware is in arrears in her property taxes if the information is correct on the Trustee's website.

But what Castillo did not mention is the fact that she herself according to the Shelby County Trustee owes $1,459.45 in property taxes for her home at 929 N.McLean for 2007. Her decision to send the letter and contact the media was no doubt the handy work of David Upton who is handling her campaign. But Upton should have done his homework and checked his candidates taxes before attacking Ware.

If Castillo is calling for Ware to be taken off the ballot then she herself must also be removed. Is it possible that Castillo and Upton were foolish enough to think that I would not check out Castillo tax status? I also made a call to Action News 5, so Veronica you just may make the news tomorrow too.

Since Morris Can't Win,Why Is He Really Running

Is Herman Morris who has very little history in the black community being used to split the black vote? Herman has never to be known to address issues in the black community even when he was the head of the NAACP,so what is his real reason for running?

Morris has never addressed why he was fired by Willie Herenton as President of MLGW, he still refuses to give the names of all the players in Memphis Networx including the names of some local poli-trick-ans who may have had an interest in the company.

Is the reason that Morris is running is not because he has a concern for the city but because he's been given an agenda by white power brokers like his campaign manager John Ryder who ran against Herenton in 1999.

Is the agenda of Morris to do the bidding's of his political masters who also want to control the city council? Is the CA behind him because their President and publisher Joseph Pepe is a member of Memphis Tomorrow the group that Karl Schledwitz and David Upton is suppose to using to finance their plan to control the council.

Pastor Sidney P. Malone has produced what could become a "Life Time' movie in having his wife committed in an ATL facility so that he could enjoy his church mistress without having his wife around.

The following comes from divorce papers filed in the Chancery Court of Shelby County as Sidney Poitier Malone vs. Rochelle case number CH-070959-2

Rochelle Malone who married Sidney on June 6,1990 is seeking a divorce for inappropriate marital conduct. She states in her filing that Sidney has been verbally,mentally and emotionally abusive to her and their children. She also states that Sidney has been physically abusive to her and the children to the point that he choked her,and that one one the children sustained swelling and bruising to the body.

Rochelle states that Sidney told his daughters to strip down to their underwear,bend over, and touch their toes or the bed and whipped them with a paddle and would tell them to "get out of my face".

In June of 2006 Rochelle states that Sidney told her that the Lord told him that if she failed to flow with him and listen to him by June 2007, the Lord had gave him permission to divorce her. She goes on to state that Sidney engaged in a diabolical scheme to admit her to a mental institution on an inpatient status without her knowledge.

On March 6,2007 Sidney and Rochelle celebrated their birthdays at the Madison Hotel in Downtown Memphis. Seven days later on March 13,2007 Sidney contacted by phone the Peachford Behavioral Health System of Atlanta Georgia,and talked with Dana Mosely,Assessment Counselor for the facility. During his conversation with Mosley Sidney asked her what he needed to do to have his wife admitted to the inpatient unit of Peachford,and what was the earliest that he could bring Rochelle to the hospital.

Later Dana Mosley called Sidney back to apprise him of medical insurance information for Rochelle's appointment at Peachford. During the said conversation Mosley observed that Sidney had the conversation on speaker phone in the presence of an individual falsely identified to the Counselor as Rochelle's sister.CeCe.

Rochelle was in informed that a facility was located in ATL where she could participate in a three day out-patient program in a lodge setting to assist her with her martial discord. Sidney told Rochelle that she had to go to the three day program "To get whole". Rochelle was told by Sidney that her going to the program was a pre-requisite to saving her marriage.

As a part of his scheme several days later Sidney purchased 3 round trip airplane tickets to Atlanta,and a one way ticket for Rochelle. On March 20,2007 Sidney,Rochelle and 2 female companions traveled via airplane to Atlanta. The group arrived at Peachford and Rochelle was presented to Counselor Dana Mosley for assessment. Sidney had full knowledge that the information he provided in the level of care assessment would be used by the attending Psychiatrist to determined whether Rochelle would be admitted to Peachford behavorial Health System. The 2 women companions were indentified by Sidney as Denice and CeCe. who Sidney lied and stated that the two women were Rochelle's sisters.

The divorce documents state that engaged in a diabolical scheme that resulted in Rochelle being institutionalized in the mental hospital for 24 days. Sidney sort to remove Rochelle from Memphis and from her children Also to make his lie sound better out of the presence of Rochelle,Sidney made false and misleading statements to Mosley regarding the mother and father,and sisters of Rochelle regarding their mental and emotional health to ensure her being committed.

I must note here that Dana Mosley has filed a Affidavit that states that Sidney told her that the reason that he he wanted his wife admitted to Peachford is because Rochelle had had personality changes for the pass 4-5 years.he also stated that Rochelle suffered from severe violent rapid mood changes,impulsiveness,extreme emotional agitation,anger out bursts, and was physically abusive towards him.

The affidavit also states that outside of Rochelle's presence Sidney stated that his wife gets disoriented,delusional. and that she blacks out frequently,and acted out at church. Sidney told Mosley that Rochelle was delusional and paranoid about his cheating,and that she lashes out at him verbally and physically. Denise and CeCe mirrored the statements of Sidney about Rochelle,

The affidavit states that one sister had shorter hair,and the other was of a lighter complexion who were tearful in their agreement with Sidney. Sidney told Mosley that he was scared of his wife and that he was afraid to make statements in front of his wife because it would trigger an outburst. By the way the woman Denise who lied and stated that she was a sister of Rochelle is Denise Andrews the mistress of Sidney. That's right he took his mistress with him to have his wife committed.

Dr. Valrie Hornablue a Board certified psychiatrist out of Georgia also has filed an affidavit that is a part of the divorce documentations verifies the statements of Dana Mosley and goes on to state that Rochelle was admitted to the adult female unit of Peachford based on Sidney's report that she was a threat to herself and others. Dr Hornablue states that Rochelle was started on a mood stabilizer and a major tranquilizer. The medication was given as a result of Sidney and the "Two sisters" reports that indicated that Rochelle was in the midst of a agitated manic episode and may be a danger to herself and others

over the next few days of being in Peachford Rochelle was observed to be cal,she attended all groups.took all her medications without problem and showed no evidence of violence The Doctor states that Rochelle's pleasant,calm ,and cooperative demeanor appeared to be her normal behavior and upon observation there was no evidence that her behavior was due to medication.

Rochelle Malone did express concern about her marriage. She attributed her depression to feeling left out by her husband. She expressed that they had started a church together but over the years she was increasingly left out of the decision making process. She stated that she wanted to please Sidney and was willing to do whatever she had to do to save her marriage. She also expressed concern that Sidney did seem to be spending more time and was seemingly more comfortable with Denise.

Within a week of her admission a family session was conducted with both Sidney and Rochelle. Sidney expressed concern about Rochelle and how her behavior had traumatized him. he stated that he was angry and didn't know how he felt about her. Dr Hornablue told Sidney that she would find a psychiatrist and a therapist that would do follow up when they return to Memphis. Sidney told the doctor that it was not in the best interest of Rochelle to return to Memphis at the time. He stated that she had caused trouble and made outbursts at the church and that it would be better for her to stay in Atlanta to receive treatment. Sidney even wanted to get Rochelle a car and condo to keep her out of Memphis.

The doctor noticed that Sidney seem to be domineering and overbearing in regard to his marriage. the doctor states that she had begun to have doubt that Sidney had Rochelle's best interest in mind. the doctor suggested to Rochelle that she contact her parents and siblings for additional support.

While in Peachford Sidney told Rochelle that on the advice of one of his colleagues he'd decided to ask her for a divorce. At this point Rochelle became distraught.she felt betrayed. she stated that she came to Peachford because because Sidney had told her that this was what she needed to do for her depression and to save her marriage. Rochelle decided that she could no longer stay in Atlanta with the new turn of events,that she needed to return to Memphis to be close to her children and to Sidney. Rochelle continued to hope that he would see things differently since their church frowned on divorce and it would have a negative impact on the church. the doctor agreed with her decision to return to Memphis to be with her children. Rochelle did return to Memphis where Sidney cut off contact from their children and had cut off all funds from her,and Rochelle found herself having to live with friends.

The doctor's summary of Rochelle reads:

Based upon my interactions with and treatment of Mrs. Malone,it is my professional opinion that she is not suffering from either a mood disorder or personality disorder that would render her a threat to herself or to her children. In my observation of her,i did not witness any symptoms or behaviors that were consistent with her husband's reports. What i did observe was her unwavering desire to please her husband and to return home to be with her children to the point that she was following his directions unquestioningly. As was revealed in her psychological testing,her tendency towards relinquishing control over to others and her desire to please others even at her own expense made her particularly vulnerable to her husband's control over her. It is also likely that years of living with such a domineering,overbearing,and powerful man fostered her self-defeating dependency on him.

In many ways it was obvious that Mrs. Malone has surrendered control over her life to her husband. He has assumed responsibility for all of the major decisions that were made during the course of my intersections with her to the point where it seemed that he felt entitled to make such decisions unilaterally (hospitalization,remaining in Georgia,purchasing her a car and condo,etc.) It is highly unlikely,that a passive and dependent individual such as Mrs. Malone could "traumatize" a man like Mr. Malone who seems quite facile at taking advantage of and manipulating others to achieve his own ends. It is with great professional certainty that I state that Mrs. Malone is not a threat to her children and I remain firm in my resolution to support Mrs. Malone in her legal battle for access to and custody of her children.

To have money to maintain herself, to take care of clothing,gasoline,food and etc., on April 20,2007 Rochelle contacted American Express to obtain a $10,000 advance on the joint credit card that she and Sidney shared,the funds were received on April 20,2007. Subsequently Sidney closed all wife's bank accounts and credit accounts.

I know that Sidney Malone has been lieing to the members of his congregation about what really happened as for as his relationship with Denise Andrews is concerned,and what has happened as far as his wife is concerned,. The FBI is looking into the website of a White Supremist group that has called for the lynching of the Jena 6.

This group has also posted the names, addresses, and phone numbers of the 6 young men who have become the symbols of a new awakening in the "Civil Rights Movement". Woman Backs Out Of Exposing Her Pastor

The woman who emailed me and requested to tell her story about how her pastor of 26 years tried to force sex on her in his church bed room has sent another email where she now wants to back out of the interview. The woman Gail Moore who I have never met felt that her exposing her pastor Rev. Gerald Rayborn would be therapy for her. I asked her what her husband would think about her planned actions on my show,and she stated that he would be find with it,apparently not.

I might note I never do these types of shows without proof which is the reason I did not post the pastors name in the previous post. But I noticed that a poster did in fact list his name. Mrs. Moore would have been allowed to expose what she states happened to her as fact because she was the person involved. Pastor Sidney P.Malone,Another Pimp In The Pulpit

Several years ago I did a series on "Pimping in the Pulpit" which dealt with pastors who for there own gain was fleecing the flock. At that time I did a story on a pastor who had borrowed $35,000 from a mortgage company to pay back $70,000. This pastor put a lien on the church and placed with the help of some members the entire amount in his checking account which was backed up with all the documentation concerning the bogus deal where the members of the church unaware of the loan almost lost the church. When I exposed this pastor he never returned to the church.

I also had a deacon from another church come on the show to exposed how his pastor who was signing all the checks at the church and was stealing money. This pastor also left the church. I also exposed a local pastor who had taken his members into the teachings of one of the biggest occults in the world.

On Tuesday night on "Express Yourself" I will expose a local pastor who has a complete bedroom in his church who according to a member who was a member of 24 years tried to force himself on her and grabbed her breasts and behind in his church bedroom. You can scroll down to a story written several days ago and read her email.

Several weeks ago I received an anonymous package that contained legal documents concerning the marriage of pastor Sidney Poitier Malone and how he had his wife committed.so that he could carry on an affair with a member who became his secretary,then his assistant and from what I'm told by members now has a seat in the pulpit.

This pastor even had women to go with him to Atlanta to pose as his wife's sisters to help convince doctors that his wife was insane. Malone convinced them so that the wife was given medication until the doctors found out there was nothing wrong with Mrs. Malone. I have copies of the doctors report where they detail the actions of Malone and how they found that nothing was wrong with the wife.

I have read the many pages of documentation and checked the courts to find out if the paperwork was real.it is. In fact I was speaking with a TV news reporter on Thursday who asked if I had received the info like the her station had. Tonight I received a email from a member of the church who wants to expose her pastor for who he really is. I will be trying to contact the wife to interview her:

There is a popular preacher in Memphis. His church is on Shelby Drive near Hacks Cross. His broadcast comes on every Sunday morning at 8:30 am. He is deceiving the congregation. He schemed early this year in March to put his wife in a mental institution because he is having an affair in the church with his personal assistant. The pastor took his personal assistant, who is his mistress and another woman in the church to Atlanta with him to help with the plot to put away his wife in a mental institution. The schemed later backfired on him and he filed for divorce in May. His wife is on the cover of the September Spirit magazine and she tells how she was devastated when she found out divorce papers had been filed. This same preacher and wife also made the cover page of the Spirit December 2006 issue. They look like the perfect happy couple.

Every week this man preaches as if nobody in the church knows what is going on. He does not even have the courtesy to tell his congregation that he has filed for a divorce from the first lady who he put out of the church and the marital home. This preacher changed his locks on the door and would not allow the wife access back into the home. He has denied her the right to even see her four children. Members have been heartbroken and wondered what had happened to their first lady whom they all dearly loved. For months no one knew what happened to her. Some of the church members have left and some are still there, they are troubled as to why he is not speaking to the congregation about the matter.

Legal documents concerning the divorce have been leaked and they are spreading secretly around the church and the community. Several church members are passing it around to others. Copies of the divorce documents are spreading around like hotcakes! When you speak on the radio or your website about the false preachers and the pimp preachers, please do not leave him out because there are a lot of them that have not been revealed. He needs to be exposed so the congregation and the church community can see what Jesus meant when he spoke in St. Matthew 7:15, “Beware of false prophets which come to you in sheep clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

According to the legal documents, you will be shocked to see just how holy this man of God is and how he is guilty of such cruel and inhumane treatment toward his wife. One excerpt in the papers read, “Between June 2005 to the present, husband became increasingly harsh, verbally abusive, mentally abusive and physically abusive toward his wife. Husband increasingly alienated wife from his personal life and the ministry they founded and developed together”. The documents reveal explosive information.

On Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at 10 am, the couple is to appear in Chancery Court II before the Honorable Arnold Goldin for the divorce and child custody proceedings. This man of God does not even want the first lady to have access to her children whom she dearly loves. Please expose the false preachers in the pulpit.

Action News 5 Gives You More Of Herenton Than You Would Have Gotten In A Debate

Many of you wanted mayor Willie Herenton to debate the issues in a debate forum,where for an hour you could hear him answer questions concerning this city and his re-election. But after viewing these debates and watching Chumney Willingham and Morris skate around issues without giving firm answers what purpose was served? Had Herenton appeared with this parade of wanna be mayors the issue would have been him and not the issues.

But thanks to Action News 5 they interviewed the mayor for 45 minutes asking him the questions that would have been asked in a forum format. Does Herman Morris Have A Relationship With The CA That No Other Candidate For Mayor Has?

While the CA attacks Willie Herenton for his management style as mayor,this is all the daily newspaper that has become Herman Morris's public relations firm had to say about his blunder with Memphis Networxs the company that Morris in his WREG debate stated that all that was wrong with the company was that "It was sold to quick and to cheap". Here's what the CA had to say:

Morris' term at MLGW also is marked by the investment of rate payer dollars into the Networx fiber optics firm, a public-private venture that is being sold at a loss..

But it is important to note that some of Memphis' most successful investors were optimistic about the future of Networx at its founding in 1999. Morris believes that the investment eventually would have produced a return and its sale was a mistake.

It's also important to note that Morris acknowledges his mistakes, learns from them and grows in the jobs he undertakes. He listens to the opinions of others and can lead consensus building efforts. Unlike Herenton, he does not presume to know the answers to the questions he asks.

So is the CA telling us that just because rich and powerful power brokers thought that Memphis Networx was a good idea that it's okay to lose ratepayers money. If the idea was so great why didn't they use their own money? This blunder that Morris admitted was his idea cost ratepayers $30 million dollars. The sale of this blunder is being held up by a state legislator who is trying to find out what other local businessmen and poli-trick-ans are tied to the company.

While the CA says that he has learned from his mistake Morris has not stated that Memphis networx was a mistake,again he stated "The only thing wrong with Memphis networx is that it was sold to quick and to cheap" does that sound like a man who thinks he made a mistake?

CITY BEAT Surprise severance package for Morris and MLGW executives could cost millions. Memphis Flyer: JOHN BRANSTON POISON PILL?

Herman Morris didn't get to the top of Memphis Light, Gas & Water without sweating details and knowing which way the wind's blowing. When it became clear years ago that there was a quiet rift between him and Mayor Willie Herenton, Morris — an attorney for MLGW for nine years before being named president — got the board to approve a unique package of severance benefits for himself, other officers, and MLGW employees in case they lost their jobs.

When the mayor decided last month not to reappoint Morris, the Flyer requested details of MLGW's severance and benefits policy from the utility company and the city. Documents show Morris is seeking severance, pension, outplacement, sick leave, and vacation benefits worth $1,171,286. The Commercial Appeal reported in a front-page story Tuesday that "Morris bows out with $205,000." That is less than one-fifth of his total proposed severance and benefits package. Under his proposal, Morris would agree not to sue the city, disclose proprietary information, or solicit existing or prospective customers from MLGW or Memphis Networx. Morris also would agree to "forfeit" $113,267 of compensatory time "earned through business travel on weekends, storm restoration, and out-of-town meetings" and 58 percent of his unused "sick leave days," worth $127,425 by his calculations.

The greater impact of the 15-page Severance Benefit Personnel Policy is that it applies not just to Morris but to other top executives and hundreds of employees. Several managers with longer tenure than Morris could be entitled to packages worth well over $1 million if they "voluntarily enter into separation and release agreements." In other words, if they quit, they define the terms. Herenton was stunned when he learned details of the severance provisions two weeks ago. He called them "vulgar" in a meeting with MLGW board members in his office last week and scolded board members for being derelict in their duty. He earlier made an oblique reference to the severance provisions as "something troubling I learned yesterday" when he met with City Council members last Tuesday.

The stealth severance deal was adopted without discussion or publicity by the board effective January 1, 2001, and revised November 18, 2002. Morris' five-year term expired in 2002 but he continued to serve as president through 2003. He proposes that a few days of his vacation days be bumped into 2004 so his service will total 15 years. Part of Morris' proposed package could be money he contributed to MLGW's pension plan. The summary doesn't say exactly how much, if any, Morris contributed. Instead, it uses a multiplier to bring the figure to $513,937. In addition to that, Morris proposes that he be paid another $518,926 "representing the difference between the value of a normal pension based on 15 years of service and the amount of the multiple of contributions refunded by the pension plan."

Parts of the proposal are unusual, although Morris is hardly the only public employee to exploit the complicated array of city, county, school-board, and MLGW pensions and retirement policies. MLGW officials responded to the Flyer with a one-paragraph faxed statement saying, "MLGW employees are eligible for severance benefits under a policy that covers both management and bargaining unit employees." Several things about MLGW's pension/severance plan bother the mayor, who was sharply criticized himself 13 years ago for "double-dipping" his pension after he resigned as school superintendent.

The concept of severance pay for appointed public officials whose terms expire is "something I have never seen in government anywhere in America," Herenton said. Storm restoration pay is another puzzler. The mayor, police director, and several other division directors are generally considered to be on call for emergencies around the clock as part of their duties. The pension multiplier is a third area of concern. Barring a legal challenge, Herenton's hands may be tied by the severance surprise. It applies to employees and officers appointed to full-time positions who lose their jobs due to downsizing, change in control or ownership of MLGW, or — as in the case of Morris — expiration of their appointed term.

At least 12 MLGW managers make more than $100,000 annually, and some of them have worked longer than 15 years. In the corporate world, an anti-takeover provision is known as a poison pill. Herenton is familiar with the tactic from serving on the boards of First Tennessee and Holiday Inns years ago. "We did that to insulate management," he said. "This is a corporate model applied to a public agency." The severance policy specifically addresses several shake-up scenarios, from privatization to merging MLGW with another government entity. One clause talks about reorganization as an authority and consolidation of city and Shelby County government. Neither of those would be considered a change in control.

The CA is beholding to to Herman Morris, he allowed one of there editors a 10 year payment plan for a water bill,placed all the editors on a VIP list,and is reported to be a golfing buddy with black editor Otis Sanford, so the view of who Herman Morris truly is,is clouded by a bias relationship. Along with this is the fact that the CA's president and publisher Joseph Pepe is a member of Memphis Tomorrow the group that is alleged to be the bank for the council take over plan of Karl Schledwitz and David Upton.

I saw Memphis before Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was gunned down, and before busing students “way over yonder” started. And like you, I've seen Memphis since 1992. Today, it is still a town of much poverty, with wealth holders working within Memphis, and living elsewhere; and paying no Memphis property taxes - a proven recipe for poverty.

However, and in spite of, the leadership of Memphis has kept the city afloat with meaningful progress to record.

Is Herman Morris The Great White Hope,Or Is It Carol?

The Commercial Appeal in one of their polls that they want the community to think is actually factual they say that Willie Herenton will only receive 2% of the white vote,which is true means that 98% of whites are Anti-Herenton. But with all the development that has taken place downtown,with all the money that has been made by the white investors off the tenure of Herenton,why the sudden exodus from him?

Could it be that in the last 16 years whites that once controlled the politics of this city have seen their power totally erode and that they no longer have the strenght that they once had. Could this be the reason that Karl Schledwitz, David Upton, Newpath,which is a Pitt Hyde Group,Memphis Tomorrow,and other power brokers have went on a mission to take control of the city council when in fact Herenton wins reelection? Is this the reason that Schledwitz sort out ambitious blacks like Veronica Castillo, Ian Randolph,Reginald Milton, Henry Hooper, and Davida Cruthird to purchase as their political slaves?

We see Herman Morris who has never until now cared about the concerns of the black community,wanting blacks to support him,but why? Morris has no history in the concerns of the black community,He has not been a part of finding solutions to the ills of the black community. As the head of the local NAACP there's not one thing that either he or this group did under his tenure that has had any meaning or purpose to the black community.

Now Morris runs around with white republicans trying to convince blacks that he's "Alright" But if the white community has thrown their 98% behind him as their candidate for mayor,shouldn't the black community be leery of him? Shouldn't blacks be leery of any black that all the whites support? Are we to believe that the history of this city has changed to the point that an entire city of whites would support a black man? Or is that black man being used to split the black vote in such a way that Carol Chumney can win?

In the larger scheme of things many whites may not want fickled Carol Chumney as mayor,but they do want a white mayor. So if they can control the council if Chumney but chance of divine intervention were to win ,she could be controlled to a certain extent,especially when it came to zoning and the building of developments.

Morris has to be concerned about the whites who tell him that they support him but when it comes time to vote for him goes with the white candidate.Herman must also be concerned with how many white votes will John Willingham take from him,and whether the endorsement of Willingham by the republican party splits his white vote.

Morris does not have enough strength in the black community to pull the required black votes to win. Many in the black community are torn with the idea of re-electing Willie Herenton,but must are not prepared to give Morris their vote. On my talk show I have blacks who state that they don't want to vote for Herenton,but they can't vote for either Morris or Chumney. If Willie Herenton can plead to the nature of blacks who would rather have the devil they know than the devil that is being created by white power brokers then he could easily pull those hanging on the fence to his side. Many blacks feel that blacks have accomplished to much in the last 16 year as far as political power to give up that power now, even if it means re-electing Herenton.

Is John Ryder who is Morris's campaign manager trying to do with Morris what he couldn't do in 1999 when he ran against herenton and lost?

As tens of thousands of people were preparing to make their way to Jena, La., for today’s anti-racism rally, white supremacists were burning up the Internet with furious denunciations, bloody predictions, promises of future violence, and calls for lynching.
“The best crowd control for such a situation would be a squad of men armed with full automatics and preferably a machine gun as well,” is how one person put it on the Web forum hosted by the neo-Nazi Vanguard News Network. Added another hopeful VNN poster: “I’m not really that angry at the nogs [a recent variation on an ancient racial slur] — they are just soldiers in an undeclared race war. But any white that’s in that support rally I would like to … have them machine-gunned.”

As the rally began to unfold this morning, it became clear that it would attract huge numbers of people, perhaps even the 40,000 that some organizers had predicted. They came to protest the case of the “Jena 6,” black youths who were charged with serious crimes for an attack on a white youth not long after white teens who had targeted blacks were let off with a slap on the wrist. White supremacists reacted with a strange mixture of anger and admiration for the organizing behind the rally.

But the dominant response was violent rage. “I think a group of White men with AK rifles loaded with high capacity magazines should close in on the troop of howler monkeys from all sides and compress them into a tight group, and then White men in the buildings on both sides of the shitskinned hominids shall throw Molotov cocktails from above to cleanse the nigs by fire,” wrote “NS Cat” on VNN. Another poster fantasized about a terrorist attack in Jena today: “Wouldn’t that be sweet? Gosh darn, wouldn’t that be sweet? Good LORD wouldn’t THAT be SWeeeeEET? Boom, Boom, no more Coon! Well? A White man can dream can’t he?”
“If these blacks want a race war,” added a poster on Stormfront, another white supremacist Web forum, “they will get one. Bring it on.”

In Roanoke, Va., an especially virulent purveyor of race hate, neo-Nazi Bill White, this afternoon posted the home addresses and phone numbers of five of the six black youths who make up the Jena 6 under this headline: “Addresses of Jena 6 Niggers: In Case Anyone Wants to Deliver Justice.” White previously posted the home addresses of Southern Poverty Law Center president Richard Cohen and SPLC cooperating attorney James Boren.
White, the leader of the American National Socialist Workers Party, suggests that readers “get in touch and let them know justice is coming.” Another White posting on the matter doesn’t hold anything at all back: “Lynch the Jena 6.

Robert Moore , a well-known neo-Nazi leader from Baton Rouge, La., apparently abandoned plans he had discussed on Stormfront Wednesday to protest the Jena rally, possibly while carrying guns. Instead, he wrote later, “If they DO start rioting and looting and burning and raze the town to the ground, White Pride Construction will be there the next day to help them rebuild.” In fact, Moore’s company, started in 2005, has done a great deal of post-Katrina rebuilding on the Gulf Coast — a truly remarkable thing, given that its name includes a widely known racist slogan.

Woman To Reveal How Her Pastor Tried To Force Sex On Her In His Church Bedroom

I received an email from a woman who states that her pastor fondled her breasts and grabbed her behind in his church office that has a full bedroom in it. Gail M. states that she know that the pastor even had a bedroom in the church. Gail wants to reveal the acts of this pastor that she has sat under for 26 years and where her husband served as an associate minister. Gail will appear on "Express Yourself" on Tuesday evening to reveal to the public the acts of this pastor.

Not only did Gail send me an email but she also sent a copy of a letter that she sent to her Sunday School Class telling them that she was leaving the church. Here's a copy of the email and the letter that was sent to me.

The attached concerns an incident that happened to me in June 2007. My former Pastor, of 26 years, Rev. _____________ had requested that I come to the church because he needed to meet with me. As always, I informed my husband, an associate Minister at the church, about the request. to make a long story shorter, I met with Pastor _________on a Thursday. I had no idea that my church of 26 years was equipped with the conveniences that allow some Pastors to take advantage of their flock or indulge in their fantasy. Dear Sunday School Family:
Teaching this class has brought me joy beyond comparison. I am remembering when I first stood up to teach the class and my knees knocked. I kept wondering if the class heard them or not? As time went on, you all gave me the confidence and enabled me to be as strong as I am now in the word. For this I will always be grateful. I feel as if I have known each of you all my life. As time has passed, we have grown closer. Through the years, you have shared so much with my family and myself. We have laughed and we have cried. But, we did it together. Your love and support through Frank’s Gullian Barre ordeal helped to lift my spirit and allowed me to know that I was not alone. Your continuous support has been a Blessing all its own. I always look forward to our lessons, the hugs, and the sincere exchange of friendship between us. I love each of you dearly, and writing this letter is so very hard for me to do and makes what I have to say so very hard for me.

I have been a member of this church for twenty-four years. My membership at this church has caused me to not only increase my knowledge of the word, but to also make some much needed changes in my life. For this, I will be forever grateful. In the beginning I was shy. Some at this church took my shyness to mean that I was a mean person or that I was stuck up. But, as always, I am not the type of person that worries or concerns myself as to how others perceive me to be. But, people who I have allowed to get close to me know that I am the nicest person you can ever meet. If there were one thing that anyone who knows me is sure of, that is the fact that they can count on from. I keep my word and I tell it like it is. I am also not a vindictive person. I do not seek to do justice on my own; for God will take care of that and this particular person that has done me wrong in the church. But, by the same token, it would be wrong for me (as a Christian) to follow or condone wrong actions. As Amos pointed out in last weeks lesson, social injustice must be spoke out against, no matter whom is doing it.

I have gone through so many emotions these past three days. I have cried uncontrollably. I was blaming myself for what happened and questioning myself as to whether I gave people the wrong impressing of what I am about. But, tonight a dear friend of mine told me something that has made me feel better and that was to let go what happened to me, for this will be the only way that I can heal. So, I am. But, I have no choice but to move on.

This is the hardest thing that I have ever had to do in my life. I have enjoyed coming to this church and fellowshipping with so many people for so many years. But, for reason that I will not go into, and out of respect for someone I love and care about, this is my last service at New_______. I will say that I know I have not once led anyone to thinking that I am a loose woman or that I have any intentions of ever cheating on my husband. I have a wonderful husband. So much so that despite what has happened, he is enduring sitting in the pulpit today (and not killing the person) just so that I can say my goodbyes to those I love. It breaks my heart to have to leave this church, especially when I did nothing wrong. But, after what has transpired, I can no longer worship here.

I used to wonder why women would not report things that happen to them by men, and now I understand why they don’t. Who’s going to believe them? Especially, in a case where the person who did the wrong holds a high position or has the most money. There are also those who will choose to not believe because they value the person and feel that they can do no wrong. But, right now God and I both know the truth of what happened between myself and the person that I have allowed to provide guidance to me and God knows that I did not instigate anything that transpired. When I say that I have gone through emotions ranging from why should I say anything when people will believe the other side, to emotions of saying my speaking out may ruin a family and/or stump someone else’s spiritual growth, this is an understatement. . Needless to say, I was hurt and angered by the approach but I do not want anyone to loose sight over what is important because of what has happened to me. God is the reason that we come to church. God is the person that we should worship, not man. As I always tell each of you on Sunday, know the Bible for yourself and never allow anyone to led you astray, not even myself. Stand on the word of God and allow Him to direct your path.

I am not going to pretend that I am not disappointed, to say the least and saddened by the whole traumatic experience. The saddest part about all of this is that I love teaching the adult Sunday school class and have no other choice but to walk away. It breaks my heart that I did nothing wrong, but I have to pay the consequences for what someone else did to me.

The Bible teaches me to do things decently and in order. It would be remiss of me to just walk away from the church and allow the people I love to wonder where I am or when I will be back. I don’t know where I will end up or when I will join with another church family. After all, this has been home for me for twenty-four years. I will take it slow for I know it will be sometime before I trust the leader of any church. But, in the meantime I will not let go of God’s unchanging hand. I also know that I will continue to trust the Lord to lead and guide me to the place he now wants me to be. He will order my steps and direct my path. There is so much that has happened here that is good and so many people that I am going to miss. You all are at the top of my list.

My prayer is that I have not offended you by this letter, that you will not be angered by what I have written to you, and that you will not judge anyone by the words I write to you today. Please keep my family and I in your prayers as I struggle to make sense out of what has happened and release it all to God. I am not questioning God; for I thank Him that I lived past that day and made it out of the situation alive. I also need your prayers that God will strengthen my husband so that he will not believe that all leaders are the same and will not be deterred from returning to the works that God has called him to do. As for me, I am letting go and allowing God to just grant me peace as I forgive the person that has so greatly disappointed and disrespected, not only myself but my husband and my son. They so selfishly attempted to take advantage of my trusting nature and darkened my respect for them and others like them, that they never once thought as to how this would affect me. I shall look at this whole event as a test of my faith. Now I have a testimony! Know that I will miss being with you in fellowship, but you will always be a part of my spirit. And always remember, To God We Owe the Glory!!!

Judge Ann Pugh Removes Lawyers Because Of Their Support For The Jena 6

This morning when black lawyers went into the courtroom of judge Ann Pugh with a lapel pin on in the shape of a six,showing their support for the Jena 6 they were told by the judge to remove the lapel pins or get out of her court.

All the black lawyers wearing the pin refused the request of the judge and reset their cases until another day. The lawyers wondered why the judge would tell them that the pin was a distraction, and that the pin represented a pendingcase.

One of the lawyers who refused to remove him pin is attorney T. Flowers who felt that the act by the judge was wrong and racist. Flowers also states that their is no provisions that gives the judge the right to tell an attorney that a lapel pin can not be worn.

Later in the day after probadly hearing that the black lawyers were preparing to sue,judge Pugh reversed her ruling allowing the lawyers to wear and conduct business in her courtroom. Black Police and Fire Fighters Endorse Herenton

On Thursday afternoon Mayor Willie Herenton was endorsed by The Afro American Police Association, And The Black Fire Fighters. The group stated that Herenton has been the best mayor that this city has ever had,and has done more for the police and fire departments than any other mayor in the city's history.

Herenton spoke of how as mayor he appointed the first black fire chief in the history of the city,and also told the group to maintain their organizations because sometimes the larger groups don't cater to the concerns of blacks. The policeman and firefighters present all say that Willie Herenton is the only candidate with the knowledge and experience to lead this city for the next 4 years. One officer stated that no matter what the media has to say about the high crime rate that until you have been in the trenches you don't know what's going on.

Several officers that I spoke with spoke of how Herman Morris has never been the black man's friend and how he has never came to the hoods of the city until he decided to run for mayor, and that because of this he has very little support in the black community. The officer stated that you can say what you want about Willie he's seen in the hood daily especially in Whitehaven at Picadilly's, He wondered when was the last time that Morris or Chumney had lunch in the hood before their decision to run for mayor.

Jena Is Just The Beginning

As I drove around the city today I was so proud to see black men and women dressed in black as a sign of support for the Jena 6. Blacks of all professions,doctors, lawyers,and even poli-trick-ans dressed to call attention to the injustice that has befallen 6 black young men who over a school yard fight now face over 20 years in jail.

In Jena LA. over 70,000 people converged on this small town to show America that there are still blacks that will stand up for the injustice of blacks in this country.While some whites will post negative comments on this site, I serve them notice that black America has no fear of racist whites any longer who would love to return history to a day of slavery, The day of fear no longer exists,and many black men are ready to lay down their lives to protect their rights.

Black history is what it is, and has proven that we as a people have only been taught the history of a people who say that they discovered America when the native American was already here. Many Whites will not understand why blacks from all over America converged on Jena, They will not understand why as a people in spite of our misunderstandings will come together to fight,march, and demand equal justice.

White America wants to forget about the history they created,and wants blacks to forget it to. White America wants blacks in this country to feed into the fictional tale that everything is okay,even though we lynched you, spat on you,turned the dogs and water hoses on you, wouldn't let you drink from the same water fountains as us, sit on the back of buses,had your way with our women,and killed us for looking at yours,everything is okay now you can trust us.

Jena La. is more than just about the 6 young men being railroaded into a prison cell, it's about the awakening of a nation and a race of people who must realized that even though Martin Luther King said that "We Shall Overcome" it has not happen yet. It's about knowing that we as a people have not reached the mountain top,but are still climbing up the rough side of it. It's about all the acts of racism that's occurring across this nation against blacks,Its about if we can't vote you out, we'll indict you out.

I'm glad for Jena 6,because it's an alarm clock that has went off in our society that has allowed us to wipe the sleep from our eyes and get up and realize that we must wash up in prayer,and clothed ourselves in the full armour and God, sit an eat a meal of knowledge that will linger as we prepare to right the wrongs of injustice.

Whites reading this will not understand what I'm saying,and I don't really care if they do or not. Some will say that I'm a racist,that's okay,some will have other negatives to say, and again that's okay, But at the end of the day it's all about knowledge. The knowledge that allows you to understand that all is not well in this country,and better yet all is not well in this city. But knowledge tells us that that we as a race can come out of bondage,fleet from those who have an agenda to destroy us,and when they think that they have us at their "Red Sea" with no where to turn, the waters will part and we will travel on dry land to a freedom of mind,and those who seek to kill us off by following us will drown and be destroyed.

And just like we're fighting for Jena, America needs to know that a fight is coming to a city near you.

►Friends, Memphians, and citizens, lend me your eyes. I write to praise the watch of Mayor W. W. Herenton, not to bury him politically as some would like to do. The so-called bad that men do, lives after them. But the good is often buried with their bones. So it is with the anti-Herentonites - “Bury him!” Yet, these critics are honorable men.

■ Some Black critics say the Mayor has exerted little influence in the development of Black businesses. According to a recent University of Memphis research report, growth in the number of Black businesses between 1992 and 2006 has increased from 811 to 1056 in “paid” employees firms.

■ What about the Black female owned Memphis Coors Beer Company, the El Tarriffico food processing company, and Neely's “nationally delivered” Bar-B-Que? Black Business Directories have also reflected growth in Black businesses, especially new firms.

■ Other anti-Herentonites say that the Mayor has done little to improve life in the city. These critics fail to recognize the many improvements in public housing, and affordable housing opportunities which helped more than 12,000 individuals become new home owners. What about the 78,000 new jobs created? What about the 30,000 individuals removed from Memphis's poverty roles?

■ Moreover, Mayor Herenton has not merely promoted the development of the downtown areas. What about the major corporations that reinvested in Memphis such as: St. Jude's $1billion expansion; FedEx erecting its world headquarters; UPS's major hub; International Paper company; Sofamor Danek corporate headquarters; and Smith Nephew expansions totaling more than $50 million?

■ Why then would the Mayor's critics want to bury him? They know of Herenton's progress as Mayor of Memphis - for they are all honorable men.

■ Some anti-Herentonites are non-Memphians. In the main, these critics are opposed to the Mayor's advocacy for consolidation in Shelby County. And last year some even participated in an unsuccessful “recall Mayor Herenton” campaign. Some Black critics joined in to help: “WE GONNA HELP YA'LL NON-BLACK FOLK GET HERENTON?” They too are honorable men - also.

■ Some Non-Blacks critics say the Mayor's speech is sometimes too provocative - that his verbal behavior is “running White folk out of Memphis.” True the Mayor is strong in his convictions and beliefs. But to some non-Blacks, no matter how strong a Black man is in his convictions and beliefs, he is not to appear sassy and uppity towards White folk.

■ “YOU OUGHT NOT TALK TO THEM NON-BLACK FOLK LIKE THAT!” Maybe they want the Mayor to be a pussy cat.
■ Recently in this 21st century, White folk revealed the consequence of a Black man being sassy and uppity. In a poll (taken by the mainstream print media) on who is the favorite to win the upcoming Mayor's race, Dr. W.W. Herenton received absolutely no percent (0%) of the White persons polled. “SEE! YOU DONE GOT THEM NON-BLACK FOLK ALL RILED UP!” However, media poll takers are honorable men too.

■ Be that as it may, the record will bear out that under the leadership of Dr. W.W. Herenton, there has been improvements and progress in spite of the cheap propaganda and Black and White lies: The Stax Musical legacy was revived. The giant panda (1 of only 4 in this country) came to the Memphis zoo.

■ The new $60 million dollar Central Library, FedEx Forum, AutoZone Park, Cannon Performing Art Center, and state-of-the-art community centers were all constructed during the Herenton watch.

■ Moreover, Memphis as do many large cities in America has its pockets of poverty in which wealth holders work in Memphis but reside elsewhere, and pay no city property taxes. But business growth and expansion have enabled the Mayor to keep the city afloat - more tourist influx, more jobs generated, more pay checks disbursed, and more city revenue for more city service.

■ And under Herenton, PROPERTY TAXES WERE INCREASED ONLY FOUR TIMES IN 14 YEARS. Should then the progress of the Herenton government (of which only a small percent has been presented here) be ignored, and the Mayor buried?

■ Wouldn't it be ashamed if voters (accidentally and mistakenly) put Herenton out of office because of a few hatemongers in high places and another few gold diggers in low places? Wouldn't it be ashamed since these critics are all, all honorable men?

Tonight: Jena Has It's 6, Memphis Has It's 1

Jena has its 6 does Memphis have it's 1? On Wednesday night my guest was 21 year old Dray Davis who took down a drunken 51 year old Germantown male in the line of his duties as a security guard on Beale Street. Davis who was trained by Bennie Cobb of the Shelby County Sheriff's Department for Winston security told of how David Hamilton shoved him three times before he had to defend himself.

Tonight we will talk about the injustice of being arrested and kept in jail for 5 days for what amounts to self defense. This young man face 3-6 years for protecting himself from a drunk. By the way for those who want to post his arrest history all his charges were dropped, with only one misdemeanor left on his record which does not prevent him from doing security work.

The wife of Hamilton along with a witness state that it was Hamilton that was the aggressor, not Dray Davis. Justice must be,and will be demanded for justice in this case.

Lat me quickly say that I think that the email from the Director concerning the KKK robe that was sent to Edmund Ford is a cover up that covers the actions of Tom Marshall concerning who sent the robe. I believe that Marshall is fully aware of who and where the robe came from.

When the robe arrived in the council office,Edmund Ford received a call from his secretary that there was a package sent to him that he needed to see. The secretary had opened the package and knew what was in the package,but why did the secretary open up the mail of Ford? Ford states that after the robe was found Marshall started to ring his phone off the hook,Ford found it strange that Marshall was in the council office late on a Friday afternoon.

No matter what Godwin states in his email, the council staff, along with some members of the media are aware that the postage on the package showed that the package was mailed from 826 Mississippi, a building that is leased to the federal government by fellow council member Jack Sammons.

In the Commercial Appeal's report they failed to mention that there were two emails sent,not just the one that was sent by Godwin. Apparently someone at city hall heard Joe Brown on my radio show on Monday night or read my story here on the blog concerning the fact that Brown was going to ask Marshall about the investigation into the robe. That information made someone at city hall most likely in the council office send an unsigned email,that reads as follows:

Why was this email sent unsigned? From reading the email the person who sent it had to be a council staff person. Was this the same staff member that violated federal law by opening someone else's mail? remember when Ford received the call from city hall his package had already been opened. Why? If Marshall was aware of how Ford received the package containing the robe,did he change his mind about Ford getting the robe and was trying to cover his tracks?

But what leads me to believe that there is a police cover up of how Ford actually received the package,and where it came from is the email from Godwin which reads as follows"

Yea I briefed Keith months ago. I will get with Security Squad. This much I can tell you,it was mailed by a FW at the raleigh post office. She was wearing scrubs like a nurse. The email is a strong line of BULLSHIT, who is the director covering for, the email makes no sense at all. But if the director is telling the truth should blacks be concerned about there care at Methodist North? Is there a Nurse running around the hospital that's a Klan member? Could this nurse be a danger to black patients? Should the death rate be checked at the hospital be see if more blacks are dying than whites? If there's a Klan nurse at the hospital,and the management of the facility isn't interested enough to help police find this person,should blacks be fearful about going to this hospital to be cared for?

I don't think this is the issue at all.I believe that Tom Marshall is aware of who on the council sent Ford the robe and is using Godwin to cover the tracks of this political racist. Methodist needs to clear its name or admit that the nurse who hates blacks is running around to stick medicine or death in the veins of sick blacks

Edmund Ford Says He Wants His Robe Back

City Council Edmund Ford says that since the police have closed the case on who sent him a KKK robe, he wants his robe back. And since the robe was sent to him it does in fact belong to him. I read with interest the article on the KKK robe sent to city councilman Edmund Ford in the Commercial Appeal. The daily newspaper left out information that everyone at city hall and most people in media know to be a fact. The paper reported correctly from the e-mail that was received from Police Director Larry Godwin that the robe was sent from a Raleigh post office by a white woman in scrubs.

The e-mail goes on to state that the post office had already recorded over the video tape when the police learned of the robe,and that the Security Squad went to Methodist North to get pictures of all the nurses but the hospital refused to release the pictures. Now are we suppose to really believe this story?

What the CA left out is the fact that the package containing the robe was shown to have been sent from The George W.Lee post office located at 826 Mississippi,not a Raleigh post office. Ford's secretary was aware of where it came from,and so was many within City hall. Even today while I was at city hall some were asking why the CA didn't mention where the the robe actually came from.

In a conversation tonight with councilman Edmund Ford I asked him what was he going to do when he got his robe back, he stated"Since someone on the council wanted me to have it, I'm going to wear it to a council meeting"

How To Steal An Election Before It Even Takes Place

I along with others received calls all day complaining about the fact that their candidate of choice was not receiving the vote that was casted for them. James Johnson the administrator of the Shelby County Election Commission admitted today that their was a problem in that if you touch the line above the name or if you don't have your finger square on the name of the candidate that you want to cast a vote for, your vote can go to the candidate whose name is above.

The question is why didn't the Election Commission share this tidbit of information with the community? The Diebold machine is not a voting machine that is trusted by many,in fact the state of California has outlawed the machine in that state. Diebold has received so many complaints and so many lawsuits have been filed against them that they are presently in the process of changing their name to "Premier".

This election is to important to have machines that are not casting the right vote,no matter who your candidate of choice happens to be you should want your vote to be cast for the candidate of your choice. The Diebold machine that we presently use is very simple to tamper with and change votes. If you looked at the tape that I have provided for you you will see just how easy and fast changing the outcome of this election could take.

Whether you like Willie Herenton or not,all citizens and candidates should join the mayor as he will make a request tomorrow as to whether or not early voting can be delayed while the machines are checked. The tampering or just the fact because you have large fingers or perhaps you're elderly should not be a reason that your candidate of choice should not receive your vote. Take time to view the video before making your comment, but then facts does not matter to those who want a reason to make a decision based on hate and not truth.

Carol Chumney and Herman Morris don't want the machines to be checked because they hope that they have received votes by mistakes. John Willingham who is aware of the problems of Diebold stated tonight that he thinks that there is a problem and that maybe early voting should be halted and the machines checked.

Joe Brown To Ask FBI To Investigate Why A KKK Robe Was Sent To Edmund Ford

City Councilman Joe Brown plans tomorrow at the council meeting to ask council chairman Tom Marshall about the investigation into the authentic KKK sent to fellow council member Edmund Ford. Several months ago Ford received the robe at the 5th floor council office,with it was a not that stated "Sometimes you might just have to get a white sheet".

The letter went on to state that some of the robes insignias had been added just for Ford,."You will see the yellow bands on the sleeves, the yellow represents cowardice" Marshall stated that he turned the robe over to the City Of Memphis Police, but Brown says that there is no proof of that.

Brown also states that he like Ford believes that the robe was sent by a fellow council member, Ford has stated that one of the fellow council member's father is a grand wizard in the KKK which made it easy to acquire the robe. Brown wonders why the robe was not turned over to the FBI because the sending of a KKK robe to a black man should be considered a hate crime.

Brown plan to confront Marshall in the downstairs meeting of the council on Tuesday to see exactly what an investigation has produced, which he believes is nothing since he doesn't believe that one was ever started. Brown also states that he will ask the FBI to start an investigation, and isn't it strange that the post office that the robe was mailed from is a building that is owned by councilman Jack Sammons.

Some will say Thaddeus, how can you tie Jack Sammons to the Post office that the robe was sent from. Well let's take a look at what I found.

This location on Mississippi near Crump is a rough black neighborhood. and no one in their white right mind would just stop to mail a package unless you want to make it seem as though someone black sent the package,which I do not believe happen at all

Beale Street Security Guard Will Tell His Side Of The Story On "Express Yourself"

Just a little over a month ago 51 year old David Hamilton was on Beale Street when he approached third street street with a cup of tea, apparently security guards were to stop anyone entering the Historic District with a cup. That's when 21 year old security guard Dray Davis confronted Hamilton,and as seen from street video was pushed three times by the Germantown resident,at which time Davis took the man down.

Dray Davis who weighs about 130 lbs had the right to defend himself,and if Hamilton was breaking the rules of the street Davis had the right to defend himself. Davis does have a criminal record that should have been checked by Winston Security, and if Davis should not have been employed that was the task of the security company to do.

Beale Street Management has tried to take themselves out of the picture, but BSM refused to pay an established company Cliff Dates and Associates, their rate and went with a less established company for a cheaper rate.

Is The Commercial Appeal A Part Of The Plan Of Schledwitz And Upton

When Karl Schledwitz and David Upton put their plan together that would give them control of the Memphis city council,sources state that they took that plan to members of 'Memphis Tomorrow for financing. The plan to control the council is a backup plan to control Willie Herenton when he's re-elected. Schledwitz and Upton never meant for their plan to become public but a copy of the plan was given to me.

While some accuse me of using my blog and radio program to support Willie Herenton very little is said of the Commercial Appeal and how the paper has thrown it's support behind Herman Morris. In looking at the endorsements of candidates for city council the CA has endorse every candidate that Schledwitz and David Upton has endorsed expect one, and that one is Harold Collins an assistant to District Attorney Bill Gibbons.There's no way that a candidate that is being supported by Gibbons would not be endorsed by the CA.

But the question must be asked if the CA is working with Schledwitz, Upton, and Memphis Tomorrow to not only take assist in taking control of the council,but also to stay on the attack against Willie Herenton. When the dot's are connected at the CA it's not hard to see that there may be a connection.

The Person that sets the agenda of the CA is the President and Publisher of the paper,that person is Joseph Pepe, who just happens to be a member of "Memphis Tomorrow'. Is it possible that Pepe is using his paper to shift opinions and shape the current election in favor of Morris,and to also assist Schledwitz and Upton? Then we have the statement from sources within the CA that states that Otis Sanford a black editor plays golf with Morris.

And if that's not enough Morris while President of MLGW placed the editors of the CA on his VIP list and gave another former editor 10 years to pay a water bill. So without a doubt the CA has a relationship with Morris.

I find it strange also that the CA would endorse all these political newcomers who have no record of community service at all, So has Pepe joined forces with Schledwitz and Upton to use the CA as the force behind the racist plan that was put together by these two. Also has the CA become the public relations firm behind Herman Morris, or is the plan to split the black vote so that Carol Chumney can come up the middle? I also noticed that the CA has yet to write anything concerning the plan. HMMMMMM, but then why would Pepe allow his paper to write a negative story about his agenda?

In North Memphis City Councilman Joe Brown is a man that is looked to as being the guy that will stand up for the "little man", he's known to be bold and a man that will not be controlled. So why is it according to the plan put together by Karl Schledwitz and David Upton that Tom Marshall says that he is the most destructve force on the council?

Why according to that very same plan is Marshall and Jack Sammons willing to raise money to defeat Brown in his bid to be re-elected? I'll discuss this and much more when city councilman Joe Brown is my Monday night guest on "Express Yourself" from 6-7pm on Am 990 KWAM

The Schledwitz, Upton Political Slave Purchase

Most political organization that select candidates to run for office normally select persons because of their history of service in the community and their qualifications. But Karl Schledwitz and David Upton decided to do it based on race and whether or not the persons that they choose are qualified or not.

Schledwitz and Upton along with Newpath put together a plan that endorses based solely on factors of race. There candidates even in their opinions are not the best choices but to take control of the council they are willing to spend mega dollars to get this political misfits elected.

There plan states that they want a council just like 1968. which means that they want a racist and majority white council in place. The same council that refused to give sanitation workers a raise, refused to give these men humane working environments and caused the death of Dr. Martin Luther King.

Their plan refused to challenge the races where all whites are running or a race where it is no doubt that a black will easily win. The only white that they support in Bill Morrison which is running as the sole white in the district 1 race. But what makes him the most qualified?, because they state that he is the sole white in the race and that the other blacks will split the district that is 50% white. So is this a message to tell whites to vote for Morrison just because he's white?

Schledwitz and Upton also state that he should be endorsed because he's a teacher, if that's all it takes what about the fact that candidate Stephanie Gatewood is a school board member. They also say that he should be endorsed because "His parents were teachers" what the hell does that have to do with HIS qualifications? Then to show what they really think of him they say he is a "Sympathetic candidate" what does that mean? does it mean they is is sympathetic to their idea of taking over the council for racial purposes, or are they just calling him stupid for being dumb enough to go along with their plan? and why are they willing to spend $60,000 to make sure he wins?

I wonder if a black man was running for District 8. position 2 that owes the IRS $400,000 other than someone that they think that they can control,would that man of color get their support? If that same man was a candidate that had "low name recognition", and " no energy" in his campaign would Schledwitz and Upton still want to buy him at a price of over $175,000? Why are these slave masters willing to pay so much for Henry Hooper? When they say "Why Henry Hooper" they state that he is a successful businessman,but yet he owes the IRS massive amounts of money., So what's the purpose of supporting Hooper?

Then there's Veronica Castillo a young lady that I had been working with, the group states that she is a long shot but worth the effort. They wanted to run a test to see just how well her chances are they state in the plan that they wanted to do a 2-piece test mailing to 6,000 likely voters with a follow up call and sample polling/ the plan states that she test well they are willing to spend $60,000.When I first received this information this weekend I call both David Upton and Veronica. I knew that Upton had been making calls to her making promises to her about funding her campaign.

I was told by her that Upton had stated that his boss "Buehler Homes" was upset with Barbara Ware because she didn't want him building his one designed homes all over the district, or just in black neighborhoods. Castillo states that she was told that Harold Buehler who at one time was a her high schoolteacher of wanted to help her out. She states that the 6,000 mail outs have been sent. I have made her aware that if she is a part of Upton's plans,and plans on taking any money from him I will go after her like any other crooked poli-trick-an that getting bought off.

Over the past week every large 4X8 sign of Barbara Swearingan Holt-Ware has been destroyed. It is my feeling that this is the work of Castillo and Upton. Castillo has allowed herself to be used as the political wench of Upton who is now so ambitious to get elected that she is willing to sell her soul to these slave masters.

Then there"s Ian Randolph who the group states is a huge long shot, but because he's running against Joe Brown the group is willing to spend $50-$75,000 on his campaign. The plan states that one of the reasons that they're supporting Randolph is because Tom Marshall stated that Joe Brown is the single most destructive force on the council. The plan also states that Tom Marshall and Jack Sammons both have agreed to help raise money for Randolph. Why would Marshall and Sammons who both decided not to run for re-election be concerned about this race? Is this the same Sammons who is alleged to have sent Edmund Ford the Klan robe from the post office where he owns the property?

Of course political newcomer Davida Cruthird was supported by Schledwitz and Upton, since she's a member of the Newpath group. I must add that I have been told by members of Newpath that they had nothing to do with the plan of Schledwitz and Upton.

These black candidates have allowed themselves to be purchased by Schledwitz and David Upton with the hopes of becoming elected officials,maybe with the idea that once they are elected that they want owe a debt to their slave masters. No one gives you anything for nothing so we understand that the reason that this plan was put together was for the purpose of council control for power brokers.

The plan was viewed according to the sources that gave me the plan, by members of Memphis Tomorrow a group of wealth persons who to be members must be over local companies that have revenues of $100 million per year or $100 million in assets. This group according to their website is designed to shape Memphis for the future.

It is also known that many power brokers fear that Willie Herenton will be re-elected so to control him and what he does within the next 4 years they feel that they must control the council. so they went and found some candidates that could be bought and now have thrown their support behind them knowing that these persons are not the best qualified.

The candidates that they were not able to buy off,according to their plan have been labeled as "Not Dependable"all these candidates are black. Is this the group that they knew would not go along with their agenda, and would not bow down to their wishes? This group needs to understand that there are planned actions against the buying of these slaves and that even though these slaves may be being whipped by schledwitz and Upton, the real whipping where there bruises will be shown from the lashing that they will truly receive is October 4th

Smith's Tell All Tape Will Be Posted

Within the next couple of days the audio from Friday night's Express Yourself program featuring Gwen Smith will be posted on the site. You will hear the entire 2 hour program where you will hear all the details of the relationship between Smith and Richard Field, You'll hear her describe how it was impossible for her to sex with Fields because of the very, very small size of his penis and how she was force to watch him masturbate with two fingers,as a way for him to control her freedom. Smith also tells of how she went to Clark's home and was greeted by Bob Reicht of the FBI, she also tells of how the group of conspirators violated a Nashville judge's order to use her for undercover work in strip clubs. You will hear of the many actions by Richard Fields that will lead to his disbarment and maybe even the filing of criminal charges.

Herenton Tells Blacks To Remember Their History

Nearly 200 people attended a political rally at the home of Fannie Clark. Clark the leader of the "Fannie Clark and the Clark Singers" a gospel group that was one of the greatest local groups to ever sing in this area holds rallies every election season to help inform citizens as to whom is running for office and allow candidates to speak. Clark is also now the force behind the Tennessee Mass Choir who sings "Vote For Herenton".

The event that was held from 6-8pm featured many persons running for office, including Willie Herenton, Herman Morris, and Carol Chumney who has always when speaking used the occasion to attack Herenton who just set there like the rest of the crowd and thought she was crazy. While Morris talked of the need for a change he never addressed the mayor.

Many of the persons running for city council spoke against the group of persons running for the council that have been bought off by Karl Schledwitz and his group who put together a racist plan to take control of the council, and there is an organized plan being put together to attack those persons who have been selected by Schledwitz and David Upton as "Perfect Slaves".

Mayor Herenton reminded the crowd that this campaign is not about Willie Herenton,but about the history of people that it took from 1826 to 1991 to have black leadership. The mayor spoke of the power that blacks took in 1991, that whites now want back. The mayor stated that if the city was in the bad condition that whites say that it is, why do they want it back. Herenton went on to state that black leadership has carried the load,and now that the load has been delivered,whites want it to take possession of the load.

Herenton stated that whites in control are angry because they can't control him and because he doesn't need their money and has refused their job offers. He admitted to not being a perfect man, and a man who has made some mistakes,but he reminded the crowd that there is no perfect man neither is there aman who has not made any mistakes.

Herenton addressed the blacks who he stated had fail for the hype, ancestors of slaves who should remember the history of "White Control" which is "divide and conquer". Amens could be heard in the crowd as the mayor spoke and many stated that the blacks in Memphis need to be reminded of their history, Something I plan to do every night on my radio show and on this blog. Even though I'm aware that there is an organized effort to post negative comments on the site, I know that my commentary is being read and that's all that matters.

Where's The White Faces?

What's left of the Memphis Democratic Club has put out their ballot. This ballot that caused the destruction of what was to become a great organization for democrats over the fact the Greg Grant was soliciting money from candidates at different rates without the knowledge of many in the group and without following a fair process seems to have a racial overtone.

No candidate is posted on the ballot because they are the best qualified but because they paid to be on the ballot. But I noticed that the two white candidates that paid to be on the ballot pictures were left off. Surely Shea Flinn and Jim Strickland have pictures. but why are their pictures not shown. Flinn paid over a $1,000 to be on the ballot at least he should be able to have his picture appear.

If the deeds of Karl Schledwitz and David Upton are wrong in the presentation of a racist plan to control the council, then to put out a ballot that only pictures the black candidates an leave off the pictures of the white candidates who paid as much or more than the black candidates is just as wrong.

This ballot has been designed to fool the uninformed into believing that it's the official ballot of the democratic party,which it is not. Many were told that this ballot is the Willie Herenton ballot, which it is not. Maybe the reason that Greg Grant wanted only incumbents on the ballot is because his transportation company has a contract with the airport that's up for renewal next year and they need council support since Yellow Cab is after the same contract. But the racial overtone of leaving the pictures of Strickland and Flinn off the ballot should not have happened.

David Upton who has joined in with Karl Schledwitz to mount a massive take over of the city council has bought out Veronica Castillo with the promise of money and power. He's working according to the plan proposed by Schledwitz, where there would be a 2-piece mailing to 6,000 likely voters,followed up by robo calls.

I had the chance today to view the mail outs, and they are expensive. The one that was received in the mail today by many in district is twice the size as the one received last week. As soon as I can put my hands on both I will post them here. The mailer received today does not deal with issues at all, but deals with 10 reasons not to elect Holt-Ware. The mailer preys on the voters lack of knowledge of what is going on, in fact the first reason states that Ware should not be re-elected because she voted for a new stadium, This is a blatant lie, since THERE HAS BEEN NO VOTE ON THE STADIUM BY THE COUNCIL.

David Upton knows that Castillo is totally unaware of the issues and cannot discuss them so he is trying to get her elected based on lies. I thought that Veronica had a desire to be a public servant and not self serving is the reason I was willing to work with her., But she has not been able to grasped the issues,and has allowed herself to become the political whore of Upton. Her every comment on issues in the past was prepared for her by me.

But the biggest issue is why the political signs of Holt-Ware is being destroyed. Every large 4X8 sign that Holt-Ware has,has been destroyed. who else but Castillo and Upton have the desire to desire these signs? Does Upton know that his candidate is in trouble if she opens her mouth so he's trying to destroy signs as a way to not cause attention to Holt-Ware?

Did David and Veronica's live in boyfriend Elvis ban together to creep in the darkness to destroy these signs? On last week Castillo was upset that some of her small signs were missing and sent Elvis out to check on her signs,maybe he decided to get even.

Castillo who is Ricky Peete's next door neighbor,and is using his campaign colors of gold and black, may have more in common with her neighbor than we know, and when we add David Upton to the equation Veronica Castillo is a bad fit and choice for district 7.

Mayor Says He's No Ways Tired

At 3pm on Thursday afternoon at Third and Belz you would have thought that a great revival meeting was taking place. Nearly 100 black pastors convened to show their support for Willie Herenton re-election to the office of mayor of Memphis. There were 'Amens" and "Go head brother" as Pastor Leonard Dawson of Cane Creek Baptist Church, James Netter Pastor of Mt.Vernon Baptist Church, and Rev. Frank E. Ray spoke of how God has the power to use who he pleases.

Ray in his pulpit fervor talked of how God was asked to debate the issue of giving sight to the blind, feeding the hungry, and healing the sick,but God instead of debating just kept on doing what he was called to do. Tears came to the eyes of Netters as Herenton talked about the history of city hall,when Netters was reminded of when he was at city hall he was the only black in the building along with the black man that shined cars. But Herenton went on to state that city hall now has more black directors than ever in the history of Memphis.

When it came to his tenure in office Herenton reminded the group of preachers that the city received its first charter in 1826, and it took until 1991 to place a black in the mayor's office, to which he stated " And they want to talk about how long I've been in office".

Herenton spoke of how Dixie Homes, Lamar Terrace, and Lemonye Gardens were no longer undesirable locations set aside for the poor but now are lovely places to live. He also spoke of how over 31,000 single mothers are now home owners through the city's first time home buyers program.

The mayor spoke of how power brokers no longer want him in office because he can't be controlled by them. He stated that there will be no Tennessee Waltz for him cause he doesn't dance that way. The mayor says that he has made mistakes, not been the perfect public servant, said things that he wish he hadn't said, and that he is not a perfect man.The mayor stated that we as humans all have faults.

The group of ministers stated that they came today to show Memphis that Herenton has the support of the church community,and that they have faith in the service of the mayor...............Where is Bill Akins and lie-Simba Gray?

I Support Willie Herenton For Mayor

Many of you have waited for me to make it official,well here goes I am supporting Willie Herenton for re-election of mayor of Memphis. My reason for supporting the mayor has very little to do with politics and more with what I feel is the right thing to do. I understand that there is a massive move by many in the white community to remove Willie Herenton not in the name of the political process, but because of hatred and the desire to return political power to those white power brokers who believe that they are no longer empowered.

Do I agree with the politics of the mayor, no not completely but I have sat down and discussed many of these issues with the mayor and even though I am not in total agreement with him, I don't believe any of the candidates running for the seat can do any better and that they are controlled by the likes of Memphis Tomorrow, and Karl Schledwitz.

This week's revelation of how power brokers are ready to go great expense to take control of ambitious wanna be poli-trick-ans who are being endorsed for reasons like being a sympathetic candidate, and because of the hatred that Tom Marshall has for a candidate , is reason enough for me to openly say that I will not be a part of any action that is designed to control a black man, or destroy him in the name of empowering whites.

The plot by Richard Fields, Nick Clark, and Russell Clark is another factor in my decision, The history of blacks in this country has proven time and time again that white men will try to destroy a black man by using a black woman. Many whites refuse to accept the fact that something is wrong with the actions of these three white men based solely on the fact that they are white even though Clark has admitted to giving Gwen Smith $6,000.

I lead the Recall project last year because I believed that the mayor needed to be reminded that he has to mandate the agenda of the people of not just the powerful but the poor as well, I also looked at the condition of many of our urban neighborhoods and knew that there needed to be a change. The recall is a provision of the city charter that allows citizens to recall the mayor after his third year of the current term. But plots and schemes are not. I have no desire to oust Herenton by any means other than by voting him out. I truly believe that hatred for Herenton by some has caused this community to lose site on whats right and whats wrong.

I know that this post will bring all the "Haters" out, but understand when you get through saying whatever you want to say about me, I don't care about your opinion of me and my decisions. I could care less about the negatives and the name calling and the cowards who will post using anonymous. Because you still make this site number one because of the number of comments posted. I will be appearing in parts of the community urging citizens to get out and vote for Willie Herenton, and like I stood against him, I'm prepared to stand with him to unify the black community so that the tactics of divide and conquer are not allowed to work. So have fun posting, I'll be sitting back laughing, because I know the comments will be humorous.

Does Morris Have Special Ties To The CA?

Sources within the Commercial Appeal state that the newspaper will be endorsing Herman Morris for mayor,but I wonder why is it because Otis Sanford and Morris are rumored to play golf together, or is it because Morris made sure all the editors of the paper were on his special VIP list?

Or maybe it's because the CA's President and publisher Joseph Pepe is a member of "Memphis Tomorrow". You will notice that no mention about the plan of Karl Schledwitz has been mentioned,and that members of Schledwitz list have been endorsed by the paper, In fact Veronica Castillo knew last week that she was going to be endorsed by the paper,she stated to me that Sanford had told her so.

Has the CA now become the public relation firm for Morris, or is Morris just a part of a plan that involves the Ca, Memphis Tomorrow, Karl Schledwitz, David Upton, and other power brokers to control the future of this city?

Herman You Didn't Retire, You Were Fired

The above letter starts out "Dear Fellow Retiree" which is a letter to retirees of MLGW from Herman Morris asking them to contribute to his campaign. But what is misleading is the fact that Morris is not a retiree, Morris was fired from his position as President of MLGW by Mayor Willie Herenton.

Why is it that throughout this whole campaign Morris has not revealed why he was fired? He admitted in Monday's debate that the idea for Memphis Networx was his idea, and that the only problem with the company is the fact that "it was sold to soon and to cheap". I wonder how much more money he wanted ratepayers to lose?

But why was Herman fired? What did he do that lead to his firing? Is there something the community needs to know about him and his ability to lead before a vote is casted? Come on Herman you like to talk about Herenton, tell us why he fired you.

Karl Is Your Plan A Sham?

In the plan designed by Karl Schledwitz that shows how to buy a candidate and control the city council, he lists three ways that money is to be channel through to finance the campaigns of those who have been chosen by himself, David Upton, and Newpath. The money is to be funneled through PAC's (Political Action Committees). Listed are New Path whose director is Tarrin McGhee, DWV PAC (Democratic Women's Victory) where David Upton is stated to be Treasurer,and SC PAC where Schledwitz is named as the treasurer.

I decided to run a check on these PAC's and could find no record of them anywhere. I checked the Tennessee Registry of Election Finance and found the record of all PAC's listed with the state but none of the mentioned PAC's are listed,why? is the plan a sham where the PAC names will just appear on the financial disclosures of the candidates knowing that the Shelby County Election Commission will never check the information submitted?


So whose giving the money to the candidates, whose listed as the person paying for the 6,000 mail outs and robo calls for Veronica Castillo? her campaign disclosure will have to reveal who the contributor is,and I will be pulling the disclosures of all the endorsed candidates of Schledwitz. So if there is no state record of the PAC's, whats really going on?

Who Is Karl Schledwitz?

Karl Schledwitz is the mastermind behind the plot to take over city hall by financing the campaigns of those that he along with David Upton, New Path, and Memphis Tomorrow, want in office. Scheledwitz plans calls for paying up to $175,000 for the campaign of Henry Hooper whose campaign is defined as one without energy by Schledwitz. But who is Karl Schledwitz,and what has he done to consider himself a power broker, whats his history? Schledwitz a federal convicted felon is best known for his role in the disappearance of $300 million from the bank that was owned by Jake Butcher. Here's some of that history from legal documents:

Schledwitz was an attorney in Memphis, Tennessee. He was also a political activist, as well as an associate of Jacob F. ("Jake") Butcher and his brother, C.H. Butcher, Jr. Prior to the early 1980s, the Butcher brothers together effectively controlled as many as twenty-five financial institutions in Tennessee and Kentucky.

According to the government, Schledwitz was a "player" or a "nominee" for the Butcher brothers in a scheme based on numerous fraudulent bank loans. Schledwitz allegedly agreed to receive loans from the Butcher- controlled banks with no intention of ever repaying them. Instead, these loan proceeds were allegedly used for a variety of improper purposes to benefit the Butcher brothers personally, such as for manipulation of the Butchers' bank stock and satisfaction of the Butchers' personal debts. Additionally, the government contended that the loan proceeds were used to promote an alliance between the Butcher brothers and then-Congressman Harold E. Ford, who was Tennessee's most powerful African-American politician at the time. In return for Schledwitz's role in the scheme, the Butchers provided Schledwitz with business for his law practice and allowed him to keep some of the loan proceeds for his own use.
In total, the Butcher-controlled banks loaned more than $1.5 million in Schledwitz's name. Many of these loans were unsecured, and were made to Schledwitz at a time that he did not have the personal income to justify such loans.

For example, in 1980, due to his loans from the Butcher banks, Schledwitz was billed $89,709.69 in interest, while he reported only $28,385 in total income. J.A. at 200. In 1981, the total interest due on his loans was $122,647.91, whereas his total income was only $31,994. Id. at 200. In 1982, his interest obligations were $172,957,57, but his total income was $52,163. Id. at 203. In fact, the 1982 interest obligationalone exceeded Schledwitz's total income for the combined years of 1978 to 1982.

B. The Investigation and the Ford Trials
In 1983, the Butchers' banking empire collapsed. Charges were brought against each of the Butcher brothers. For his part in the scheme, Jake Butcher pled guilty to bank fraud in 1984 and was sentenced to 20 years in prison. He served six years and eight months at a federal prison, and was paroled in 1992. After being acquitted of related charges, C.H. Butcher pled guilty to five counts of bankruptcy fraud in April 1987. He agreed to cooperate with federal authorities in their cases related to the collapse of the Butcher banking empire, and eventually served seven years in prison.

An investigation by federal regulators following the collapse of the Butcher banks revealed that Schledwitz owed $1.5 million to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation ("FDIC"); and $485,000 to the Southern Industrial Banking Corporation ("SBIC"), an uninsured state-regulated thrift. Schledwitz eventually settled those obligations for $90,000 and $30,000, respectively. On April 24, 1987, Schledwitz, Congressman Ford, and two others were charged in the Eastern District of Tennessee in a nineteen count indictment with conspiracy, bank fraud and mail fraud. 1 The case was transferred to the Western District of Tennessee upon defendants' motion, and a jury trial, presided by the Honorable Odell Horton, was held in Memphis.

On April 27, 1990, the Memphis proceedings ended in a mistrial after the jury announced it was hopelessly deadlocked. A year later, Judge Horton ruled that a new trial for the defendants would be held in Memphis, but, over defendants' objections, the jury pool for the new trial wouldbe selected from Western Tennessee communities outside of Memphis. We upheld Judge Horton's ruling on appeal. See In re Ford, 987 F.2d 334 (6th Cir. 1992). Upon retrial presided by the Honorable Jerome Turner, a federal jury found Schledwitz and his co-defendants not guilty on all charges on April 9, 1993.

C. The Greeneville Trial and Direct Appeal
In the meantime, Schledwitz alone was indicted on additional, related charges in the Eastern District of Tennessee on January 21, 1992. Schledwitz was then charged with eight counts of mail fraud, in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 1341 and 1342, for bilking the Butcher banks and defrauding the FDIC and SBIC in their attempts to recoup the lost loans. The case was assigned to the Honorable Thomas Gray Hull, who subsequently dismissed five of the eight counts--all of which were based on defrauding the FDIC and SBIC. The remaining three counts were (1) that Schledwitz allegedly used the loans to assist Jake Butcher's manipulation of United American Bank ("UAB") stock in banks controlled by the Butchers; (2) that Schledwitz allegedly borrowed $40,000 from the City and County Bank of Roane County (which was controlled by the Butchers) to repay C.H. Butcher's Las Vegas gambling debts; and (3) that Schledwitz borrowed $115,000 from the City and County Bank of Anderson County (which was also controlled by the Butchers) to promote the Butchers' political interests in West Tennessee.

Prior to his trial, Schledwitz requested that the government provide him with exculpatory evidence as mandated by Brady v. Maryland. 2 Specifically, Schledwitz requested: "Any prior testimony, which tends to exculpate the defendant, made to the Department of Justice, the United States Attorney'sOffice, the FDIC, other federal agencies, and/or the Grand Jury by . . . Jacob H. `Jake' Butcher." J.A. at 785. In response, the government stated that it had complied with its Brady obligations, and had supplied Schledwitz with all exculpatory evidence.
At trial, the prosecution produced evidence of Jake Butcher's scheme to create a market for bank stock in his banks, and to make loans in furtherance of this scheme and in furtherance of the Butchers' personal and political interests. As an alleged "player" in this scheme, the prosecution showed at trial how Schledwitz received numerous loans from the Butcher banks when his income did not justify those loans.

With regard to the Jake Butcher loans involved in count one, Schledwitz borrowed approximately $450,000 to buy UAB of Knoxville stock at a time when his total annual income was $34,313. An associate of Jake Butcher's, Jesse Barr, testified at trial that Jake asked Schledwitz to buy the UAB of Knoxville stock. Barr claimed he arranged for two loans to finance Schledwitz's stock purchases, and that Schledwitz would provide Barr with numerous bank notes and blank personal checks so Barr could make the interest payments for him. One loan for $300,000 was from UAB of Memphis and was later transferred to UAB of Hamilton County. By shifting the funds to different banks, the loans appeared current and were less suspicious to bank examiners. Barr also testified that a large portion of the loan proceeds from Schledwitz's loans either went directly to Jake Butcher or were used to pay Butcher's bills. Jake Butcher himself did not testify at Schledwitz's trial, apparently because both the government and Schledwitz were uncertain whether Butcher's testimony would have been favorable to their respective positions.

One of the most prominent government witnesses at trial was Jay Horne, who had retired from the Internal Revenue Service ("IRS") with twenty-five years experience as an investigator. Horne submitted to the court and jury that he had been (1) hired by the government, at the rate of $20.00 an hour, to review and analyze the financial records used bySchledwitz in his scheme and (2) subpoenaed by the federal government to explain the meaning of Schledwitz's financial documents to the jury. Although Horne testified that he had worked on "weekends and nights and vacation time" in reviewing Schledwitz's financial records, he gave no indication that he had done any additional work in the Schledwitz investigation other than analyzing documents. J.A. at 190-92. Horne was the only expert witness to testify for the government.
The actual mail fraud theory charged in the first count in the indictment stemmed from a letter dated October 9, 1981 that Schledwitz wrote to Barr. The letter stated: "Dear Jesse, enclosed is an interest payment due on the note in [UAB of Hamilton County], please advise. Sincerely, Karl A. Schledwitz." J.A. at 370. Barr testified that this letter was Schledwitz's way of asking him where to get the money to pay his loans. Id. at 371. Additionally, the bank issued Barr a renewal note on Schledwitz's loan since Barr was handling the note for Schledwitz.

On September 24, 1992, the jury convicted Schledwitz on all three remaining counts of mail fraud. He was sentenced to six months in a halfway house. On direct appeal, a panel of this court affirmed Schledwitz's conviction in an unpublished per curiam opinion. See United States v. Schledwitz, No. 92-6314, 1993 U.S App. LEXIS 34009 (6th Cir. Dec. 20, 1993). Schledwitz subsequently sought a writ of certiorari from the Supreme Court, but the Court declined to issue the writ. Schledwitz v. United States, 512 U.S. 1207 (1994).

Gwen Smith Is Out Of Jail And Ready To Talk

Gwendolyn Smith was released from a Nashville Jail early Tuesday morning and presently in a secluded secured location. Smith will appear on my radio talk show,"Express Yourself" on Friday evening for her first live interview.

On Friday evening Smith along with her attorney Javier Bailey will discuss the entire details of her involvement with Richard Fields. She will also discuss the roles of Nick Clark and Russell Gwatney. This interview will be so explosive that I may have to go two hours just to get everything in. Smith will not be speaking with any other media outlets until after the Friday interview.

A news story by Omari Fleming on Channel 3’s 10:00 p.m. news broadcast on Monday, September 10, 2007 and a 29-page PowerPoint presentation prepared by Karl Schledwitz greatly concerns me and my campaign staff.

I am appalled that at a time when we are trying to forge ahead in this city, that a group of people are trying to put a new face on an old, corrupt, back door political system. I am equally appalled that many of the candidates campaigning as agents for change, including my opponent, Veronica Castillo, would so quickly allow themselves to be used by the “good ole’ boy” system. This is an unethical environment, and if these people get in office, it will be more of the same corruption in Memphis City Government. Is there any difference if they get paid before or after the election?

These are the issues that cause me the greatest concerns:
A group of individuals and local Political Action Committees (PACs) led by Karl Schledwitz and David Upton have pooled together their money and influence to control the future makeup of the Memphis City Council.

They have launched an organized effort to control the direction of this city by controlling the will of the people. They have researched and tested the best way to influence the voters with their dollars in the October 4th election.

They have selected candidates they feel are marketable, controllable and would be loyal to their cause.
These candidates are fully aware of what’s going on and are reportedly receiving $10,000 to $175,000 each for their campaigns.

It is an intricate, well planned conspiracy; however, its purpose is thinly masked.
This project is documented and richly financed. All of this seems highly unethical and lacking integrity and transparency.

I hope that the media and the public can see the danger in such activities. I stand for honesty, integrity and professionalism, and I seek to represent the 7th district on the City Council to effectuate real change. Let the voters decide!

Private Foundation About To Lose Their Hold On Lorraine

Community Speaks:
6 months and no more lease for private foundation
that currently controls National Civil Rights Museum

On Monday evening, September 10, 2007, at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Labor Center in Memphis, a community meeting was held by the Tennesse Black Caucus of State Legislators. At the meeting, the community clearly expressed their consensus that the corporate interests dominated private foundation that currently leases and operates the National Civil Rights Museum should only be granted a lease of six months so an investigation of documents, operation, and future mission of the museum can be completed, and then future direction and control of the museum can be determined.

The private foundation had sought to purchase the property for one dollar, but, due to outrage in the community, has dropped that effort, and is now seeking a long term lease of the property from the State of Tennessee which owns the property.

The private foundation has still not answered or provided all documents requested by the community and legislators, and has responded that some questions are 'irrelevant," when asked about future mission and direction of the museum. The private foundation has also now stated that its meetings do not have to be open to the public, thereby restricting access and input from the community. Unless the legislators act now to gain access to study this private foundation's behaviors, there will never be any oversight and accountability in the future.

Please contact the governor, your legislators, and members of the State Building Commission and tell them that there should only be a six month lease of the property to the private foundation until an investigation can be completed and future direction determined for the museum.

Omari Fleming, Here's the Questions You Should Have Asked

Here's the script from a news story that News Channel 3 did on last night:

Karl Schledwitz and David Upton are both Memphis developers and Democratic political activists. But they don't always see eye to eye. "Sometimes we're on different sides," says Upton. Usually we support different candidates."
Herenton supporter Thaddeus Matthews claims Upton, Schledwitz, Newpath and other so-called political power brokers are part of a diabolical plan to take over the Memphis City Council this election year. A joint effort to keep Mayor Willie Herenton in check in case he's re-elected. Matthews claims a twenty-nine slide power point presentation maps out the master plan. Priority one on the presentation, a victory for council candidate Bill Morrison.The positives according to the slides, he's the only white candidate in a 50-percent white district. "There's nothing sinister to it," says Schledwitz, the architect behind the PowerPoint presentation. Adding, "there are six candidates in that power point that are endorsed. Five of whom are African-American. So for me, that defies logic this has racial overtones."
Despite the accusations, Schledwitz says his presentation has nothing to do with the mayor's race and everything to do with fundraising and agitating change for a better Memphis. "The reality is poor people are getting poorer and the rich people are leaving and that's a recipe for disaster and we as a community need to pull together and do things differently."


Great story Omari, but there is a lot you left out of the story, at least since your station alone with others use this blog to find story leads you could have at least given me a call since you were using my name in your story. In reporting this story I noticed that you left a lot of the facts out and didn't ask Schledwitz certain questions, such as "Who did you present the presentation to?' Omari the presentation was made to "Memphis Tomorrow" and the concepts of the plan is already in place.

Veronica Castillo who has no money in her campaign and who I suggested get in the district 7 race has received the 6,000 mail out and robo calls that the plan calls for,where did the money come from? She stated to me that when David Upton started calling her that he was representing "Buehler Homes" the company that Upton works for. She stated that Upton told her that Barbara Holt had been a pain because she wouldn't go alone with the way Buehler wanted to build homes in black neighborhoods and that Buehler was looking for someone that wouldn't give him the same problems.

Castillo not knowing Upton asked me about him, I gave him a call and he told me the very same thing that Castillo had stated. In my conversations with her lately she told me that she has not been back in contact with Upton, but apparently that was a lie,since the mail outs and robo calls that the plan calls for are in place, along with the fact that she stated to me that she wants the support of Upton and whoever.

Omari, how is it that if "Memphis Tomorrow" is funding political campaigns that the city of Memphis can give them $1.5 million which is a part of next years budget, and why if there is no connection between this group and NewPath why is it that Memphis Tomorrow requested funding for them also which when council members balked was pulled from the proposal?

Omari, you are an excellent reporter but you fail to ask certain questions that were important to this story such as if this plan has no racial overtones as Schledwitz suggests why is it that his plan refused to go after the council races where all whites were involved where there was numerous candidates? Also why is it that the only white that is being endorsed happens to be the only white in the district 1 race?

Schledwitz states that we endorsed six candidates and all are black accept one. Omari why didn't you ask why if according to the plan Henry Hooper is looked upon as having a no energy campaign and a person with no name recognition, why is it that he wants to spend $175,000 to get him elected, and hire him a campaign manager. Why also is Bill Morris,Bobby Lanier, and Homer Brannon willing to raise $50,000 a piece for a no energy campaign, and why is he giving Hooper a fund raiser tonight at his house sponsored by TomMarshall and Jack Sammons

Omari, why didn't you ask Schledwitz why if he considers Ian Randolph "A Huge Longshot" he wants to raise him $50,000? also why didn't you ask him about what the plans states when it tells why Randolph should be endorsed by his group,such as where it states in the plan under "Why Ian Randolph" Tom Marshall states that Joe Brown is the most single destructive force on the council, why didn't you ask why as the plan states Tom Marshall and Jack Sammons are willing to raise him money? Better yet why wasn't Sammons and Marshall interviewed about their involvement with Schledwitz?

Omari also why didn't you ask in the case of Bill Morrison what was meant when Morrision is defined as a "Sympathetic Candidate" does this mean that he is sympathetic to the concepts of Memphis Tomorrow and Schledwitz? Also Omari why didn't you ask why all the candidates that Schledwitz considers "Not Dependable" happen to be black. Also what does this term mean, does it mean that they couldn't be bought by Schledwitz?

Omari the reason for this post is because you mention me in your story and you paint a picture that I have presented a "diabolical plot" that has no rhyme or reason, but if you do your research and like at this story from all angles you may just see that there may be something diabolical going on. Did The Debate Educate You Or Bore You?

After watching tonight's debate there was nothing said by either candidate that was really impressive. I think all three candidate basically handled themselves well, but nothing was stated that really charged up their campaigns. Herman Morris had prepared himself for shots that he knew was coming, like for instance when he was asked about giving his family special treatment by being on the VIP list, he replied that his mother has just had a stroke at that time and yes he wanted to know when his mother called.

Morris also admitted to being the one whose idea it was to have Memphis networx,stating that the only thing went wrong was selling to soon and to cheap. Carol Chumney wanted to make an issue of Willie Herenton not being present, which was a known fact that he would not be in attendance. Chumney came across as shadow and petty in her look in the camera approach to attacking Herenton instead of using the time to attack issues.

John Willingham who is well versed on the issues surrounding the Fed Ex Forum and the Pyramid came across as knowledgeable by not impressive as the next mayor. Neither candidate would concede and allow a consensus candidate against Herenton.

But what are your views on the debate,was their anything stated by either candidate that changed your mind,or made up your mind? Who impress you the most and why? Who came across best as the person that you think should be elected mayor and why? Or was the debate just another boring hour of TV?

Memphis Tomorrow To Receive $1.5 Million From The City

Why is "Memphis Tomorrow" a group of elite Memphians who only allow their group to have 30 members who are top executives that either have $200 million in annual income,or $100 million in assets receiving $1.5 million from the city of Memphis? According to city council records "Memphis Tomorrow" has been added to the 2008 budget, where they are to receive funding, but why?

According to sources within city hall the group was also asking that a portion of this money would go to New Path, the political group that selects and endorses candidates for office. How can the council approve funding for a political organization such as "Memphis Tomorrow" a group by their own admission involves themselves in politics. How can taxpayers money be used for such a purpose? A city councilman today stated that the financing of "Memphis Tomorrow" needs to be readdressed and maybe removed from next years budget.

A Plot To Take Over The City Council

Power brokers knowing that the chances of Willie Herenton being defeated by any candidate that is presently running for mayor,put together a mastermind plan to take control of the city council. The feeling by this group of memphis elite is to control Herenton for the next four years by having council members in place that they control. The plan might have worked had not someone leaked me a copy of their plan.

A plan was put together by New Path, a group of young political newcomers controlled by Pitt Hyde, David Upton, Who goes to the highest bidder, and and Karl Schledwitz, a local businessman that commissioned the first poll that he states that Carol Chumney was leading in and where it also stated that she was doing well with the black vote. Schledwitz was also involved in the "Draft A.C." campaign, where he made a call to Stevie Moore to put out signs for The campaign that never happened.

This group of political wanna be power brokers as my sources state that supplied me with the documentation went to a "Memphis Tomorrow" a group of all white power brokers with one token black black and made a presentation on how to take over the city council.

Memphis Tomorrow is a group of major executives of Memphis largest enterprises whose purpose is to select who they think should be elected to office. This group was founded in 2001 by Pitt Hyde and Dean Jerrigan founder of "Storage U.S.A." the members are all white, but always keep a token black female on the board. That black was Carol Johnson until she left Memphis, Now their token is Martha L. Perrine Beard, Senior Branch Manager of The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.

The criteria for membership eligibility is that the member be a top executive of a local corporation or enterprise that has over $200 million in annual revenue,or over $100 million in assets. Memphis Tomorrow limits its membership to 30 members which have to be approved by the board of directors each year. According to their website the group was formed to guide the community's developement in the future. Memphis Tomorrow is the funding source behind the plan.

The plan entitled "Memphis, How to Make a Real Difference....Change City Council" is a detailed plan by New Path, Upton, Schledwitz, and Memphis Tommorrow to overthrow the government and take contol of the council by financing and manageing the campaigns of those they think that they can control,and will not give any resistance to their plot.In fact the plan states that this is the first time in 16 years with 9 vacant seats that you can have a council like Memphis had in 1968, where the group can seize the chance to elect a majority that shares their views.

The plan states that the goal is to elect 10-11 councilmen who, do not depend on politics for a living, are open minded, are open to doing things differently,will not let race dominate decisions, will challenge the status quo, will act as AGENTS FOR CHANGE. My question is what does this reference to "Agents" mean? whose "Agents" will they be? Is this Memphis Tomorrows way of saying that we are looking to elect those who will do our bidding?

The plan mentions that they are not going after District 2, because Brian Stephens will be the likely winner, neither are they going after District 4, because with no real competition in the race in Johnny Hatcher who has spent all his time filing lawsuits and not campaigning Wanda Halbert is the likely winner. The group is not going after District 5 even with several candidates in the race because they say that Jim Strickland is favored to win.

Even though Super districts 9 positions 2 and 3 both have several candidates in the races the group is not going after these seats. Is it because white candidates are the like;y winners, or is it the fact that their is wealth in these two races so the candidates in these races likely can con be bought?

But the 6 council seats that they are going after along with the candidates are,District 1, with Bill Morrison as their candidate, District 8 Pos 2, Henry Hooper,District 6 Reginald Milton, District 7 Veronica Castillo, District 3 Davida Cruthird a member of New Path, and Super District 6 Pos 1 Ian Randolph.

The plan breaks down the reason for giving them support and how much money they're willing to give each candidate, along with who they will place over each candidates campaign. In the case of Bill Morrison the group staes that he is the ONLY WHITE CANDIDATE in a district that is 50% white. The plan goes on to state that the blacks in the race will split the vote. among the reason for giving Morrison their support the group states that he's endorsed by E.C. Jones and New Path, plus he's a SYMPATHETIC CANDIDATE. what does that mean are they saying that Morrison is sympathetic to their beliefs? the group is winning to spend $40,000 to secure a run off and $60,000 to win with no run off.

Next on the list is Henry Hooper, they make a fact of the district being only 20% white, and even though they state that Hooper has low name recognition,and no energy in his campaign, The group is willing to raise $150-$175,000 for radio and TV and direct mail featuring his pastor Rev. K.T. Whalum. The group also wants to hire Bill Morris, Bobby Lanier, and Attorney Homer Brannon whose each willing to to raise according to the plan $50,000 each.

Next you have Reginald Milton who they predict will be in a run off with Edmund Ford Jr. They state that he has put $20,000 of his own money in the campaign but they feel that he needs another $20-$40,000 to get him in the run off for sure. One of the reason that they state that he is being supported by the group is because he's endorsed by New Path. I know that he is being handled by New Path because i called him on last week about advertisement on my radio show and he told me that his campaign was being handled by the group of young political newcomers.

Then there's Veronica Castillo a young lady that I have been working with, the group states that she is a long shot but worth the effort. They wanted to run a test to see just how well her chances are they state in the plan that they wanted to do a 2-piece test mailing to 6,000 likely voters with a follow up call and sample polling/ the plan states that she test well they are willing to spend $60,000.

When I first received this information this weekend I call both David Upton and Veronica. I knew that Upton had been making calls to her making promises to her about funding her campaign. I was told by her that Upton had stated that his boss "Buehler Homes" was upset with Barbara Ware because she didn't want him building his one designed homes all over the district, or just in black neighborhoods. Castillo states that she was told that Harold Buehler who at one time was a her high schoolteacher of wanted to help her out. She states that the 6,000 mail outs have been sent. I have made her aware that if she is a part of Upton's plans,and plans on taking any money from him I will go after her like any other crooked poli-trick-an that getting bought off. But she assures me that she is not for sell for any price less on some mailouts, and thought that Upton represented her former teacher and just wanted to help her in her campaign. She states that people like Upton is what gives those who want to serve their community a bad name.

Davida Cruthird who is a part of New Path naturally has been endorsed by them and they're willing to spend $25-$40,000 on her campaign. Then there"s Ian Randolph who the group states is a huge long shot, but because he's running against Joe Brown the group is willing to spend $50-$75,000 on his campaign. The plan states that one of the reasons that they're supporting Randolph is because Tom Marshall stated that Joe Brown is the single most destructive force on the council. The plan also states that Tom Marshall and Jack Sammons both have agreed to help raise money for Randolph. Why would Marshall and Sammons who both decided not to run for re-election be concerned about this race?

The plan goes on to give what they call "The Big Picture", where they state that Scott McCormick, Jim Strickland,Brian Stephens,Myron Lowery, Langston,Conrad or Flinn,Franklin,Lit Hedgepath or Wilder,are all locked in and they're not getting involved in their races. But the persons that they are supporting and willing to buy off have a chance to change Memphis. They state that the other candidates including Wanda Halbert, Stephanie Gatewood, 2 Shay Parkinson,Janis Fullilove,Ed Ford Jr, Barbara Holt,Harold Collins, Madeline Taylor and Joe Brown, are not dependable. Its very noticeable that all these candidates are black.

Is the group saying that the black candidates they call not dependable, candidates that they can't control? or they saying that these are the candidates that can't be bought off by the riches of power brokers? Even though I received a call from Cordell Orrin of New Path at almost midnight stating that they are not controlled by Pitt Hyde and Memphis Tomorrow, I'm not sure that I can believe him. Every candidate has been endorsed by New Path, and is stated that the reason that they are being considered to be bought off is because New Path finds favor in them.

This plan show that there are those in this community who are puppets for power brokers and that there is a plan by these power brokers to not only select our leaders buy buy them as well. This also goes to prove that Willie Herenton was correct when he stated that there are those who want him gone so bad that they are willing to do just about anything. This group knows that the chances of defeating Herenton are slim and none so to control city government along with development contracts to want to hand pick the council, a council that they can control and dictate.

The plan also has very racist overtones that show that the white power brokers are trying to make sure that the council is majority white like 1968 as they state. But There plan has been leaked and now they may have just given the black community a "cause" and a motive to make sure that none of their hand picked cronies are elected.

Will The Saints Raise Hell Over Election Of The Next Bishop?

Since the death of G.E.Patterson who was the Presiding Bishop of the Church Of God In Christ, thousands of "Saints" have visited this site from around the world. Thousands posted on the subjects relating to Louise Patterson being evicted from the church, the cleaning out of Patterson's office, and the selection of the new pastor of Temple Of Deliverence, Wilbur Hawkins. So here I go with another subject that I'm sure will bring thousands of response.

Bishop Patterson's term of office as I'm told was to end in 2008, but with his death and the power and money that this office brings and election of a new Bishop has been called. Bishop Charles Blake Is the present Presiding Bishop, but there are others that want the position of power and at this year's convocation will try to dethrone him.

I'm told that the Right Reverend Lawerence Winbush,the Right Reverend Wyatt Hamilton, The Right Reverend Chandler Owens, all members of the general board will take on Blake. The position of Presiding Bishop as told to me by those in the church is sure to make one a millionaire. Blake who is known as the pastor to the stars in Los Angles is already a very wealthy man, but if he maintains his present position he is sure to increase his wealth and certainly his power.

Some within the church feel that it's only a matter of time before the Convocation leaves Memphis for another city,stating that the only reason that the convention of saints has remained in Memphis this long is because of G.E.Patterson.

So to the saints, who would you prefer as your Bishop and why? Should the Convocation remain in Memphis? and what is the role of the church when it comes to social change? Some predict that the race to become Presiding Bishop will be a blood bath where saints will use all the tricks of conventional politics. With Blake's church being the largest church of the organization he will have the most delegates to the convention,how will the other Bishop's combat him?

Black Police Officers Say Union Doesn't Represent Them When It Comes To Chumney

The Memphis Police Association on yesterday endorsed Carol Chumney for mayor, but I have received numerous calls from black officers who state that Tommy Turner and his gang does not represent them.While some I spoke with stated that they would be voting for Herenton some refused to say who they would be voting for but it would not be Chumney.

The Black officers have sued the city 4 times over the last 7 years concerning promotions which was won all 4 times. There is presently a lawsuit against the city and the union filed by black police officers who feel that the union does not represent their interest. Therefore black officers do not support the endorsement of Chumney and had no role in the decision. One officers stated that, that was the reason no black officers were seen on TV for the announcement.

The endorsement of Chumney by the police union really means nothing because the Memphis Police Association is a divided group that has no real control over its members. This is the reason that the Black officers have the Afro American Police Association because they feel that the union has never represented black officers.

The black officers that I spoke with have no respect for Tommy Turner, the President of the union and told me to ask him why hasn't he revealed that several weeks ago he was stopped in the county by Tennessee Highway Patrol for DUI and booked through the Collierville jail. The officers state that if this alleged incident is truth he should be on non enforcement status.

The union can say and do as they please one thing that is for sure Police Director Larry Godwin does not support the decision of the union, because he has two big "Herenton for Mayor"signs in his yard,in fact to my surprise there are several homes on the street that have these signs, including my yard.

Germantown, Jena Louisiana, Nooses Still Spell Racism

The city of Germantown has fired three former Germantown Performing Arts employees for creating "Hangman nooses". Matthew Strampe,Michael Larawer, and William Martin, according to City Administrator Patrick Lawton tied the nooses and at least one of the three stuck his head in the noose and laughed. Lawton stated that the nooses left hanging in the center compared the nooses to cross-burnings and swastikas,he also stated that "Its a symbol of hatred and bigotry.

There will be those who will suggest that the firing of these three is over reaction, but Lawton and the city of Germantown was totally correct to fire these buffoons for just being stupid. For them to even suggest that they didn't know that the appearance of nooses would be offensive to Black employees is either plain ignorance or a lie.

Many Blacks in this community that care to remember their history still remember the use of these nooses to lynch and murder both Black men and women. Many whites will suggest that Blacks should get over our history and the past that there forefathers placed on us, because they don't want to deal with the reality of the fact that much has not changed in this country when it comes to racism,just the methods.

If those of you who think that the use of nooses are not still used to try and intimidate blacks ask the Jena 6, the young Blacks who now face 22 years in jail in Jena LA. because of a school fight that happened when black students sat under the "White Only" tree. After these students sat under the tree the next day nooses appeared hanging from the tree. The rules call for school suspensions when fights occur, well the white students were suspended, and the black students placed in jail and on the 20th of this month face imprisonment.

So when you suggest that the firing was over reaction remember that the black employee that reported the noose had every right to feel threatened by the actions the fired employees. His history told him to beware.

What's Wrong With Tamara?

Tamara Mitchell Ford was arrested on Tuesday night in Collierville and arrested again for DUI. A minor child in the car was picked up by a family friend. Ford has had her license revoked for a year and was arrested earlier this year for DUI but the judge did not revoke her probation stating that she had met all his requirements.

What is it going to take to save Tamara from Tamara? Does she miss John, or is she on a fast track to destroy or take her own life?

Morris Has Cost Memphis Nearly $32 Million, How Much Would We Lose If He Becames Mayor

In 2001, MLGW's board adopted without discussion a severance policy for Morris and other executives that would pay them over $1 million if they "voluntarily" retired. But the public didn't know this, and it didn't know how sensitive Morris was to publicity. In 2002, he advised two associates that a billing dispute with an editor of The Commercial Appeal "could set editorial policy toward MLGW for years and must be handled with touch" and that a VIP list was needed. More fine print that didn't make the news.

By 2003 Herenton had decided that Morris would have to go. They disagreed about which firms should get lucrative bond business, the size of rate increases, protocol, and spending the mayor called "wasteful" and "self-aggrandizing." That set the stage for Morris to negotiate his severance package. Herenton balked, went public with his objection (and his calculations purporting to show Morris was seeking over $1.1 million), and open warfare was declared between Herenton and the city council over the appointment of Joseph Lee to succeed Morris.

According to records from MLGW Morris received $682,849.32 in a lump sum payments from rate payers of the company. Why hasn't Morris discussed the waste of money given to him while he discusses Herenton, also why hasn't Morris disclosed why he worked to give rate payers monies to black and White millionaires to start a business called Memphis Networx, a business that has cost $32,000,000.00 to those same rate payers?

As to date Herman Morris has cost the citizens of Memphis nearly $33,000,000.00 how much would he cost us in 4 years if by a stroke of Divine intervention he's elected to become mayor?

Website Racist Revealed

For many months on this site very racist statements have been made about blacks on this site by a peculiar poster. This poster created the word "Mempfrica" as a reference to the city of Memphis becoming totally black. This poster is the same person who daily makes copies of news stories where black have committed crimes and places those stories here on this site.

The poster on a daily basis states that blacks have low I Q's and claims that whites are superior to blacks. This poster uses various proxies to keep me from banning him from the site, in fact he references me as Thud Matthews.

Well today he finally slipped and made himself known, no longer will he be allowed to hide behind the robe of anonymous like the racist coward that he is.

Today after Jennings Bernard's radio program went off instead of changing stations as I always do, I left it on and low and behold the host of the next program which comes on once a week started his program by talking about blacks in Mempfrica, Then It all made sense. The host Thorne Peters is a racist that is allowed weekly to promote his hate against blacks on WMQM radio, in fact just several months ago he attacked me on his program.

Today Peters talked about how Whitehaven has become "Blackhaven" This idiot who says that he's a atheist is on a crusade to regain America for the white race. Every comment on his radio show is negative about the black race. It has been surprising that the same station that 3 years ago took me off the airwaves for talking about poli-trick-ans and preachers allows Peters to promote his racist agenda weekly. The comments he makes, makes the remarks of Don Imus tame.

Now we know who this racist is, that may be violating FCC guidelines with some of the comments of his show, which could cause WMQM to lose their license is a complaint is filed with tapes of the show. I do not believe in censorship of radio, but neither do I condone a program that promotes racism against blacks. This is the sole agenda of this program, there is no other discussion of issues, just how low he thinks blacks are,and how whites in this country are being mistreated.

Since he uses different proxies to be able to stay on this site, if he continues to post here I will file the proper complaint with the FCC against WMQM and ask my congressman to make sure that it gets in the proper hands since radio and TV stations are regulated by the Federal government. It's sad that these "Men of God' can read the bible, but not take time to read for themselves the bill before acting a fool and treating Congressman Steve Cohen with disrespect. But then again with the way that they acted on last Tuesday maybe they haven't taken the time to read the Bible either.

To provide Federal assistance to States, local jurisdictions, and Indian tribes to prosecute hate crimes, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
This Act may be cited as the `Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2007'.
SEC. 2. DEFINITION OF HATE CRIME.
In this Act--
(1) the term `crime of violence' has the meaning given that term in section 16, title 18, United States Code;
(2) the term `hate crime' has the meaning given such term in section 280003(a) of the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994 (28 U.S.C. 994 note); and
(3) the term `local' means a county, city, town, township, parish, village, or other general purpose political subdivision of a State.
SEC. 3. SUPPORT FOR CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIONS AND PROSECUTIONS BY STATE, LOCAL, AND TRIBAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS.
(a) Assistance Other Than Financial Assistance-
(1) IN GENERAL- At the request of State, local, or Tribal law enforcement agency, the Attorney General may provide technical, forensic, prosecutorial, or any other form of assistance in the criminal investigation or prosecution of any crime that--
(A) constitutes a crime of violence;
(B) constitutes a felony under the State, local, or Tribal laws; and
(C) is motivated by prejudice based on the actual or perceived race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability of the victim, or is a violation of the State, local, or Tribal hate crime laws.
(2) PRIORITY- In providing assistance under paragraph (1), the Attorney General shall give priority to crimes committed by offenders who have committed crimes in more than one State and to rural jurisdictions that have difficulty covering the extraordinary expenses relating to the investigation or prosecution of the crime.
(b) Grants-
(1) IN GENERAL- The Attorney General may award grants to State, local, and Indian law enforcement agencies for extraordinary expenses associated with the investigation and prosecution of hate crimes.
(2) OFFICE OF JUSTICE PROGRAMS- In implementing the grant program under this subsection, the Office of Justice Programs shall work closely with grantees to ensure that the concerns and needs of all affected parties, including community groups and schools, colleges, and universities, are addressed through the local infrastructure developed under the grants.
(3) APPLICATION-
(A) IN GENERAL- Each State, local, and Indian law enforcement agency that desires a grant under this subsection shall submit an application to the Attorney General at such time, in such manner, and accompanied by or containing such information as the Attorney General shall reasonably require.
(B) DATE FOR SUBMISSION- Applications submitted pursuant to subparagraph (A) shall be submitted during the 60-day period beginning on a date that the Attorney General shall prescribe.
(C) REQUIREMENTS- A State, local, and Indian law enforcement agency applying for a grant under this subsection shall--
(i) describe the extraordinary purposes for which the grant is needed;
(ii) certify that the State, local government, or Indian tribe lacks the resources necessary to investigate or prosecute the hate crime;
(iii) demonstrate that, in developing a plan to implement the grant, the State, local, and Indian law enforcement agency has consulted and coordinated with nonprofit, nongovernmental violence recovery service programs that have experience in providing services to victims of hate crimes; and
(iv) certify that any Federal funds received under this subsection will be used to supplement, not supplant, non-Federal funds that would otherwise be available for activities funded under this subsection.
(4) DEADLINE- An application for a grant under this subsection shall be approved or denied by the Attorney General not later than 30 business days after the date on which the Attorney General receives the application.
(5) GRANT AMOUNT- A grant under this subsection shall not exceed $100,000 for any single jurisdiction in any 1-year period.
(6) REPORT- Not later than December 31, 2008, the Attorney General shall submit to Congress a report describing the applications submitted for grants under this subsection, the award of such grants, and the purposes for which the grant amounts were expended.
(7) AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS- There is authorized to be appropriated to carry out this subsection $5,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2008 and 2009.
SEC. 4. GRANT PROGRAM.
(a) Authority To Award Grants- The Office of Justice Programs of the Department of Justice may award grants, in accordance with such regulations as the Attorney General may prescribe, to State, local, or Tribal programs designed to combat hate crimes committed by juveniles, including programs to train local law enforcement officers in identifying, investigating, prosecuting, and preventing hate crimes.
(b) Authorization of Appropriations- There are authorized to be appropriated such sums as may be necessary to carry out this section.
SEC. 5. AUTHORIZATION FOR ADDITIONAL PERSONNEL TO ASSIST STATE, LOCAL, AND TRIBAL LAW ENFORCEMENT.
There are authorized to be appropriated to the Department of Justice, including the Community Relations Service, for fiscal years 2008, 2009, and 2010 such sums as are necessary to increase the number of personnel to prevent and respond to alleged violations of section 249 of title 18, United States Code, as added by section 7 of this Act.
SEC. 6. PROHIBITION OF CERTAIN HATE CRIME ACTS.
(a) In General- Chapter 13 of title 18, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following:
`Sec. 249. Hate crime acts
`(a) In General-
`(1) OFFENSES INVOLVING ACTUAL OR PERCEIVED RACE, COLOR, RELIGION, OR NATIONAL ORIGIN- Whoever, whether or not acting under color of law, willfully causes bodily injury to any person or, through the use of fire, a firearm, or an explosive or incendiary device, attempts to cause bodily injury to any person, because of the actual or perceived race, color, religion, or national origin of any person--
`(A) shall be imprisoned not more than 10 years, fined in accordance with this title, or both; and
`(B) shall be imprisoned for any term of years or for life, fined in accordance with this title, or both, if--
`(i) death results from the offense; or
`(ii) the offense includes kidnaping or an attempt to kidnap, aggravated sexual abuse or an attempt to commit aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to kill.
`(2) OFFENSES INVOLVING ACTUAL OR PERCEIVED RELIGION, NATIONAL ORIGIN, GENDER, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, GENDER IDENTITY, OR DISABILITY-
`(A) IN GENERAL- Whoever, whether or not acting under color of law, in any circumstance described in subparagraph (B), willfully causes bodily injury to any person or, through the use of fire, a firearm, or an explosive or incendiary device, attempts to cause bodily injury to any person, because of the actual or perceived religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or disability of any person--
`(i) shall be imprisoned not more than 10 years, fined in accordance with this title, or both; and
`(ii) shall be imprisoned for any term of years or for life, fined in accordance with this title, or both, if--
`(I) death results from the offense; or
`(II) the offense includes kidnaping or an attempt to kidnap, aggravated sexual abuse or an attempt to commit aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to kill.
`(B) CIRCUMSTANCES DESCRIBED- For purposes of subparagraph (A), the circumstances described in this subparagraph are that--
`(i) the conduct described in subparagraph (A) occurs during the course of, or as the result of, the travel of the defendant or the victim--
`(I) across a State line or national border; or
`(II) using a channel, facility, or instrumentality of interstate or foreign commerce;
`(ii) the defendant uses a channel, facility, or instrumentality of interstate or foreign commerce in connection with the conduct described in subparagraph (A);
`(iii) in connection with the conduct described in subparagraph (A), the defendant employs a firearm, explosive or incendiary device, or other weapon that has traveled in interstate or foreign commerce; or
`(iv) the conduct described in subparagraph (A)--
`(I) interferes with commercial or other economic activity in which the victim is engaged at the time of the conduct; or
`(II) otherwise affects interstate or foreign commerce.
`(b) Certification Requirement- No prosecution of any offense described in this subsection may be undertaken by the United States, except under the certification in writing of the Attorney General, the Deputy Attorney General, the Associate Attorney General, or any Assistant Attorney General specially designated by the Attorney General that--
`(1) such certifying individual has reasonable cause to believe that the actual or perceived race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability of any person was a motivating factor underlying the alleged conduct of the defendant; and
`(2) such certifying individual has consulted with State or local law enforcement officials regarding the prosecution and determined that--
`(A) the State does not have jurisdiction or does not intend to exercise jurisdiction;
`(B) the State has requested that the Federal Government assume jurisdiction;
`(C) the State does not object to the Federal Government assuming jurisdiction; or
`(D) the verdict or sentence obtained pursuant to State charges left demonstratively unvindicated the Federal interest in eradicating bias-motivated violence.
`(c) Definitions- In this section--
`(1) the term `explosive or incendiary device' has the meaning given such term in section 232 of this title;
`(2) the term `firearm' has the meaning given such term in section 921(a) of this title; and
`(3) the term `gender identity' for the purposes of this chapter means actual or perceived gender-related characteristics.
`(d) Rule of Evidence- In a prosecution for an offense under this section, evidence of expression or associations of the defendant may not be introduced as substantive evidence at trial, unless the evidence specifically relates to that offense. However, nothing in this section affects the rules of evidence governing impeachment of a witness.'.
(b) Technical and Conforming Amendment- The table of sections at the beginning of chapter 13 of title 18, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new item:
`249. Hate crime acts.'.
SEC. 7. SEVERABILITY.
If any provision of this Act, an amendment made by this Act, or the application of such provision or amendment to any person or circumstance is held to be unconstitutional, the remainder of this Act, the amendments made by this Act, and the application of the provisions of such to any person or circumstance shall not be affected thereby.
SEC. 8. RULE OF CONSTRUCTION.
Nothing in this Act, or the amendments made by this Act, shall be construed to prohibit any expressive conduct protected from legal prohibition by, or any activities protected by the free speech or free exercise clauses of, the First Amendment to the Constitution.

Is Nikki's Boss Dressing Her Up To Look Like A Democrat?

Has the Republican Party come up with a plan to take control of the 9th Congressional District dressed as democrats? Nikki Tinker registered to vote in Memphis in 2002, but yet has raise millions much of which comes from republicans outside of Memphis to run for congress.

Tinker who grew up in Gadsden Alabama, is Vice-president of Labor Relations for Pinnacle Airlines, whose CEO Phillip H.Trenary is a known republican who has contributed to George Bush, Lamar Alexander, and Bob Corker. But why is this republican who alone with his wife pushing Nikki to become a member of congress? Is it because as a member of congress she could attempt to create some kind of legislation that would benefit the airline industry, or is this just an attempt to get control of the 9th congressional district for the republican party?

Tinker has no track record of service in this community,but many blacks want to support her based on the sole fact of her skin color. Pinnacle Airlines flew a group of the ministers who attacked congressman Steve Cohen in their last Tuesday's meeting was the flight around Memphis an attempt to upgrade the preachers from a box of chicken to wings in the sky? Trenary released a statement stating that the flight was about their Youth Aviation Program, I wonder how many children were on that flight? There is already the rumor stirring from some ministers who were not invited to fly that ministers have received money to support Tinker.

Republicans are well aware that it would be very hard for any member of their party to win the seat outright, but to place a republican in the seat in democratic clothing may just work, so they think.

Tinker knows that she can not combat Steve Cohen on a battlefield of service, so she must use trickery and greedy preachers to serve her agenda and the agenda of her boss Phillip Trenary. Tinker will have those in place who will state that the district belongs to black representation, and will suggest that the service that Cohen is rendering is just "Pandering".

This concept of Steve Cohen being white dismisses his right to serve will not work because their will be those who will fight for Cohen's right to serve and will continue to uncover the agenda of Pinnacle Airlines attempt to control the district through Nikki Tinker. Is Nikki truly a democrat, I wonder if she's ever voted as a republican,hmmmmmmmm, I will soon know. Phillip you will need more than your money and your money connections to get Nikki elected.

Pastor Offers Apology To Congressman Steve Cohen

As Congressman Steve Cohen entered the worship area of the Bethlehem Baptist Church in North Memphis he was greeted by a standing ovation. The pastor O.C.Collins Jr. had invited the congressman to his church to apologize for the actions of ministers at Tuesday's Baptist Ministerial Association meeting, and to have him speak to his congregation.

Pastor Collins stated that he was not present at the meeting but have heard the reports an talked with ministers that were present and found the actions of those involved in the rudeness and catcalls wrong. Collins felt that as a member and as a preacher of the gospel that he owed the congressman and apology. Collins also stated that since the issue of the Hate crime bill was not addressed when Harold Ford Jr. was in office the ministers were being hypocritical.

Collins stated that Cohen was his friend and that when his friend hurts he hurts. He also went on to mention that the friendship did not start when Cohen became congressman but that the congressman has had a relationship with his family down through the years.

Collins in his sermon stated that what man meant for bad, God meant for good,because the issue of Cohen being mistreated because of his skin color has shined a light on racism in this community that will brighten the path for those who see this issue for what it really is to not judge based on color,or elect based on color.

Ministers Admit That They Have Never Read The New Hate Crime Bill

Ministers who are members of the Baptist Ministers Association,who attacked Congressman Steve Cohen on last Tuesday in their weekly meeting with rudeness and catcalls,because they don't want to support the new Hate Crime bill stated to me on last night that they have not even read the bill.

On last night I travelled with the congressman and his deputy administrator Randy Wade to WLOK"s "Stone Soul Picnic" where the President and General Manager of the station Art Gilliam had invited him to introduce the featured Gospel act. When we arrived at the rear of the main stage members of the association were also at the stage,their preacher male chorus had just finish singing. There was a coldness in the air when Cohen made his arrival that was still chilling from Tuesday's meeting. Several of the ministers shook his hand and spoke to the congressman, but only after he extended his hand.

Rev. Stanford Hunt a close friend of Leo Lie-Simba Gray came over to discuss what happened on Tuesday, he stated that the congressman was arrogant and that the bill was not needed. At this point I asked him if he and the group had read the bill to which he replied,NO. I asked him how can he go on record as stating that the bill is wrong when he has not read it. He replied that the political analyst for the group had read it and that they were going off his interpretation. I asked Hunt who was their analyst, he replied Lie-Simba.

So here we have a group of so called leaders, who stand before hundreds on Sunday mornings attempting to lead them in what should be the right way, that won't eeven take out time to read for themselves. How can these supposedly "Men of God" attack a man based on the interpretation of Gray? Hunt started asking me about words in the bill that Gray has told the group is there,instead of reading it for himself.

This group of ministers is fast becoming a laughing stock around the country for their blatant ignorance and desire to deceive the community. Why would these pastors not take the time to know what they're talking about instead of going off half cocked? Gray's agenda is about replacing Steve Cohen with Nikki Tinker. Gray knew that this group of preachers were gullible and would believe his lies without checking the issues out for themselves,so he used them in an attempt to try and damage Cohen,a plan that has failed in more ways than one way.

Nikki, if Leo Gray and the Baptist Ministerial Association is the best you can do, you are in deep trouble

Black Preachers Bought With A Plane Ride

In June Pinnacle Airlines the company where Nikki Tinker is an attorney, her boss Phillip Trenary gave members of the Baptist Ministerial Association a plane ride around the city. This is the same group that on Tuesday in their meeting attacked Congressman Steve Cohen with their lies about the Hate Crime bill. This same group never attacked Harold Ford Jr. when he as congressman signed on to this bill with the same provisions as they are now attacking Cohen for.

The group of ministers have no real concern about the bill because they know that the information that they are spewing is just a lie. There is nothing in the bill that states that a minister can not preach against homosexuality, the ministers are being used as paid pawns for Nikki Tinker.

Why is it that known republican Trenary so lenient with airplanes? why is it that both he and his wife are contributors to the Tinker campaign. Is Tinker a part of a republican plan to take over the congressional seat dressed in democratic clothing? The ministers are also a part of the plan that states that only a black can represent the district,and have been bought with a plane ride around Memphis

Here's a portion of a recent news story: Tinker has spoken to the ministerial association and arranged for the company she works for as general counsel to provide a free airplane ride to members of the ministers’ congregations in June — after declaring her candidacy. Pinnacle Airlines flew the group in circles around Memphis on June 23 but, through spokesman R. Phillip Reed Jr., said the flight was “not directly or indirectly associated with the Tinker for Congress campaign.”
