If I voted for a "black only" candidate, then it would be for towns. He appears to love our community as well as Steve Cohen. Trikki Tinker wants to use Memphis as a stepping stone, and she needs to step off!

towns, was fired from fed ex. he was suppose to work and he never show up, but he put in his time card. Just ask him, but he will probable not tell the truth, for i was there when this happen. right joe.

Trikki Tinker, be careful to avoid steping into any dodo as you are not used to being in those political neighborhoods which gets attention only when an election is in the offing.

During the debate on last week, he made a stupid remark about people, who don't get an education, turn to crime. He didnt' say "highly likely" or "the statistical probability by what %" but will turn to crime. I guess everyone who hasn't gotten an education are all criminals. They didn't think to get a job or become entrepreneurs instead. HE'S such a DUMBASS!!!!!!!!
Ask Joe TOwns why he keeps his yard on Saint Honore in Whitehaven a hot mess! If he is running for office then why would his front yard ( and house) look like a section 8 house!
Joe gave a pretty good acount of himself on the talk show today. he's better than Tinker- but this is a two horse race and he wont beat Cohen.
There's a reason for not employing folks with a felony - pretty simple actually. WE DONT WANT THEM. If you do a crime, sell drugs, kill someone, manslaughter, murder...its going to follow you. maybe some of these folks should think before they do the crime.
They lie on the application, get hired, then the background check comes back and they get released. Simple truth is don't do the crime. Pass whatever laws you want, it will have no effect on hiring practices.
Ward should have got some real time for his deeds, unfortunatley he did not and now race card has been pulled. Put all of the corrupt folks away, regardless of color or power. Seems to me there is someone big in memphis about to get indicted and he did some groundwork for pulling the racecard a few weeks back.
Too bad people in Memphis vote on skin color and popularity and not about real change. Thad- remember the election in West Memphis a while back. All that talk and still they could not get out to vote and put their man in the sherriff's office. Wake up folks and seek real change through electing the right people and holding them accountable.

If Joe does not win I still hope he stays active and seeks new and better ways to serve. We need his fresh ideas in our future.

I know what you mean about dumb like for example G.W. Bush who barely made C's and had to cheat off minorities or John MCcain who graduated 874 out of 878 in his class. Then there is Obama who was the editor of the Harvard Law Review, is a professor of constituitional law and finished 3 in his class of 1200.
