BLACK RADIO PERSONALITY CALLS MICHELLE OBAMA UGLY

WDIA radio should know a little about Black History being the first Black formatted station in the country. 62 years ago when there was no such thing as Black radio personalities Bert Ferguson a white man took a very unpopular position at the time and placed Blacks on the air.

For many years the station was known as the communication point for blacks in the mid south area. WDIA was also known as the "Goodwill" station because it served the needs of the community by providing a baseball team, The Teen Town Singers, The Goodwill and Starlite Reviews. The personalities were known in the community because they were involved in the community and not just voices behind a mic as such is the case of the present day WDIA.

The present day WDIA has a morning host in the person of Joe Louis Jones AKA Booby Ojay that brags about not voting, That spends each day discussing sex when there are so many other subjects that the Black community needs to discuss. When I decided to go to 862 Baltimore to raise money for the Poole family Joe Louis Jones made the statement on air that going to the community was "Old School".

I guess even though Clear Channel has thousands of dollars in remote equipment parked on its lot if it does not see a way to turn a profit there is no need of cranking the equipment. Instead of Joe Louis Jones telling the community the truth that his company no longer allows for the station to get involved with the community he wants to suggest that serving the community is "Old School".

But what really broke the camels back as far as this Black station whose talk show host have played down Barack Obama running for president was when Jeff Lee who was sitting in for Joe Louis Jones made the statement that "Michelle Obama is a very unattractive woman". This comment by Lee set off a barrage of calls both on his station and on my radio program sating how wrong and out of place he was. Many women stated that they were insulted that he would degrade a Black woman who has become an example of Black womanhood for many young Black females.

In an era where young Blacks only images of success are booty shaking and hip hop, Or some one running up and down a football field or a basketball court, One would think that the historical Black radio station would find it an insult to demean a woman who loves her husband and her children,who have worked hard, Who educated themselves, And have reached a level of success that no other Blacks have made in history.

It's sad when Blacks in media can only be buffoons and clowns and only speak of whose screwing who, When Black poli-trick-ans and Black preachers are screwing us all. Maybe the reason that when Bev Johnson does her news in the morning its a rewrite of the CA is because non of WDIA's employees are involved in the community and never attend a function unless it has to do with drinking and dancing. Blacks in media have a greater role to play then to be the court jesters for white media corporations whose only concern in the black community is how much money can we make from those niggers.

IS CLEAR CHANNEL USING WDIA'S BLACK PERSONALITIES TO DUMB DOWN THE BLACK COMMUNITY AND TO DESTROY THE BLACK VOTE FOR BARACK OBAMA SINCE THE COMPANY HAS STRONG TIES TO GEORGE BUSH AND THE REPUBLICAN PARTY?

Political contributions
Data released by the Center for Responsive Politics in early 2004 revealed that Clear Channel executives donated $42,200 to Bush compared to $1,750 to Democrat Presidential candidate John Kerry. Clear Channel's political action committee contributed 77% of their $334,501 in federal contributions to Republicans. [9]
In the 2006 election cycle, Clear Channel gave $492,250 to federal candidates through its political action committee - 40% to Democrats and 60% to Republicans. [2]
