Is the reason that Police Director Larry Godwin is so consumed with finding out where the leaks are in his department are because he afraid that someone is going to make it public that he's a failure at his job and that crime has increased every year since he's been the head of the police department?
Godwin has gone on record as saying that his "Blue Crush" program is deterring crime, but according to police records which were LEAKED to me,this is a very untrue statement. Those records show a constant yearly increase in arrests which mean that there is a constant increase in crime. If the director had an effective plan for crime we would see the numbers decrease.
The stats show that in 2003 there were 31,021 arrests, In 2004 35,366, In 2005 36,426, In 2006 38,196, And in 2007 44,858. These stats are based solely on adult arrest in the City of Memphis, So we know that with juvenile arrests added the stats are much higher.
With this steady increase in crime how does Godwin have time to be concerned about anything other than crime, Better yet why has mayor Willie Herenton allowed him to keep his job because the stats of The police department shows that he's not doing his job.
HERE'S ANOTHER LEAK FROM THE 12TH FLOOR. SOURCES STATE THAT GODWIN HAS COPYRIGHTED THE BLUE CRUSH PROGRAM TO SELL TO OTHER POLICE DEPARTMENTS AROUND THE COUNTRY.

Thad if you compare the crime statistics released by MPD to those released by the FBI, you will notice that Godwin lies and under reports what the actual numbers are from the FBI.

This is one of the ways godwin gets the numbers down. Say your home was broken into. That would be a BURGLARY, a FELONY. If no one is caught godwin has it reclassified to a VANDALISM which is a MISDEMEANOR and doesn't count in the stats.
Another one is if you were a victim of an AGGRAVATED ASSAULT a FELONY, shot stabbed so forth , and no one is caught it's reclassified as a MISDEMEANOR, which doesn't count in the stats.
Before Godwin and Blue Flush memphis was one of the safest cities in the US. Other police depts. came to Memphis to see how we fought crime. But Godwin changed things in favor of Blue Flush and things been going down hill every since. Check the F.B.I. STATS. Thaddeus, you have the crime rankings, why don't you post them.
Godwin is the biggest con artest I know. He has coned the city with this Blue Crush and now he is trying to con the rest of the country. How can they buy into this Blue Crush when Memphis is one of the most dangerous cities. It didn't get that way until Godwin became Police Director.
Godwin intentionaly allowed crime to get out of control so he could introduce blue crush and make money. He ended a lot of programs that had been effective in fighting crime for years. One program was the Metro Gang Unit in which the Sheriff stated wednesday that Godwin informed him that he eliminated the gang unit in favor of Blue Crush. Sad thing about it, Blue Crush didn't work and we have to deal with the increase in violent crimes.
I predict that godwin will stop releasing the crime stats to the fbi so the world won't know how bad the crime is in memphis

Every IP Address is traceable to the connection time and duration, and is able to be tracked to a specific computer. With all the information being given out through emails, online store purchases and such, your computer ID number is linked to your individual name and address, which is linked to your IP address. Data bases are maintained for years at a time, with info updated as it is changed. Don't ever think you are unknown when online, you are ALWAYS known.

if i am correct, if there are more arrest year by year, that means people are being caught committing crimes. thats why the number of arrest are higher each year. So it must be working.

I believe that the taxpayers in the City of Memphis would become raving maniacs if they could find out exactly how much, in our taxpayer dollars, goes to Janikowski for work the MPD could probably do themselves, as I have heard they did in the past?

if he developed the program, i think he should be able to take it with him as intellectual property. but in most cases once you receive money for it, your rights to it are limited by who has paid you for it.
let him put his name on it and sell it, who is going to buy it? does he think the great police work seen on the first 48 is going to provide proof it works?
there is a big difference between the first 48 and csi. which would you rather have investigating the death of a loved one? its a no brainer.
i think a large number in the police department would present a presence in the community that would deter crime, then the arrest numbers would not be so high.
i can't help but think that the corruption in leadership is the cause. When a community can see their representatives with a self serving attitude without regard to the law or the people they are there to serve, it spreads into the community.

Larry Godwin used the city of memphis to push his product. What will happen to Blue Crush vans when he leaves? Will the city have to pay him to use the Blue Crush trade mark? I heard that Larry Godwin wants to be Sheriff. I think the county will be a good place for Blue Crush.

More people are not being arrested for committing crimes. People are being arrested for just being out. Many are arrested for no reason at all. Blue flush is all about numbers and most of the arrests are misdemeanor arrests where the defendants are released the same day and their cases are dismissed in court.
GET RID OF BLUE FLUSH BY WAY OF THADDEUS AND THE NORTH MEMPHIS TRASH THAT HE DEFENDS.
