Michael had the name and voice of a mighty angel. He multiplied his God-given talent a thousandfold which is more the 99% of us will ever do. My only hope and prayer is that he accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and Redeemer before he departed this lifes so suddenly.

This country has lost one of its true
american icons. the entire world was witness to the power of black music through the melodious voice of the thriller. no entertainer in history has been a superstar from the moment of childhood to adulthood like michael jackson, not even sammy davis jr. I saw Michael Jackson live 3 times, victory tour and Bad tour, and no performer in history could compare, maybe not even james brown. They say Michael had 13 number 1 hits, second only to Elvis and Mariah Carey. They fell to add the 4 number one hits he had with his brothers, the jackson 5. He will truly be missed.
There are people who are saying that Michael will never have the affect as Elvis. Are they crazy? You are talking about the King of Pop. Who broke down racial barriers ala MTV?? Who helped write "We are the World" to help with starvation and AIDS in Africa? Who is in the guiness book of records because of his many donations to different charities helping children. Black, whites, and all nationalities loves MJ. Elvis was not able to pull in black america, but MJ was able to pull in white america. Elvis was ok, but he was NO MJ!!!

Not sure how old you are; however, I bet your kids and/or grandkids idolize Michael Jackson moreso than they do you. Michael J. Jackson was the King of Pop and no one can take it away from him, whether you like it or not - - - face it, it's true!
The tribute on the BET Awards shows was a mess. The only touching thing was at the end when Janet spoke. Why do we go overboard in things? What a shameful show.

Michael wasn't perfect and he listened too much to the people who only wanted to use him to make mo money, mo money, mo money. He had his own demons but generally he was known to be kind and giving unlike the mean spirited haters on this blog.
I hope president Obama in his letter of condolence to the Jackson family, extended the offer of having Michael buried at the Arlington National cemetary. He is worthy of such an honor, being an original American icon.

Hey we are in a recession from all of that give away housing of the past years. Decent Americans, aat this time, can't afford to have the remains of their lost family members moved from Arlington if that hallowed ground is contaminated with the remains of Michael Jackson, a real oddity.
Anyway Obama could care less about his non-muslim brothers. Look at what has happened to the old heros, Jessee Jackson and Al Shrimpton, they aren't allowed near the White House.
I was so sad when I heard this. I felt like my own brother had passed away. I, like so many, grew listening to and loving M.J. Sure, he had issues, like anyone else. This is the saddest news of the year!!! Our man Michael is gone. I would like to encourage all the black churches to play ONLY his music this Sunday instead of the damn organ music. Let our churches honor Michael by playing his greatest hits such as Beat It and Thriller. Let us dance among the pews to this man who is the greatest human being who has ever lived on this very earth. There will never be another one like him, even those of you who argue for 50 Cent should realize the error of you ways. Michael Jackson was three dollar ahead of 50 Cent any way you count the change.

I heard the boy who accused him stated that it was all a lie, and Micheal paid him to keep quiet. This man who as many noted gave millions to all races. The many who blamed him for bleaching his skin. I know of two people who have the same disease. One wears brown makeup because she has more more than white. He was probably turning white and decided it was best to bleach it one color. Ok, he changed his nose, now its common to have them procedures. The people who pointed have got to understand how horrible they made his life to always be bashed for everything you do. he was human the last time i checked. i saw him on film with his kids, he loved them. Maybe the first two are not hes who know, but we all know that last one looks like him. plus who cares, many men take care of kids not theirs. his money do not belong to the black race as this one person so put it, he have all the rights in the world to give him money to his kids, white, purple green or blue. thats who he loved and they loved him black. both races did poorly by him. they still make fun of him and hes gone. please look in the mirror.
The sad part about this is 3 kids lost their world. This man was all they knew. No matter how you feel about him, his family/kids deserve the right to grieve without negative remarks. Do the research on MJ and you'll see he had no life. We all say we'd like to be famous but look at the price. He was in total isolation for his entire life. He probably didn't know what it felt like to go to minor places like Walmart or check his own mailbox or drive to McDonald's. We take life for granted but he gave his and for what?
