ELKINGTON WANTS A JURY TRIAL

John Elkington according to an outside auditing company has gone away with, commingled funds, used Beale Street funds for his own purpose and since 2002 done away with $6.4 million dollars is asking for a jury trial in the case against him that is set for March of 2010.

An answer and request for a jury trial has been filed by Elkington and delivered to J.Michael Fletcher Esq, Attorney John Candy, who represents The Beale Street Development Corporation, David Cocke,Evans Petree Bogatin P.C.,John Speer. And Bass Berry & Sims.

I wonder why Elkington suddenly wants a jury to hear his case? What could he possibly say to explain why millions are missing from Beale Street and why he has used Beale Street funds to finance other of his projects around the country.

Does Elkington feel froggy now that attorney Rickey Wilkins is off the case and a brand new law firm that knows nothing about the case is now in charge? maybe Elkington feels that Myron Lousy will settle the case,But I wonder how a settlement can be made with Elkington when the City of Memphis has no contract or other agreement with him? Elkington's contract is with BSDC and not the city. Or maybe Elkington feels that A.C. Wharton will be the next mayor and his holding a last Friday night fund raiser for A.C. will buy his freedom.

Maybe he feels a jury trial will keep politics out of it.

The John Elkington case is important, but why do we spend so much time on cases at the highest
local level when there are so many injustices ordinary citizens face in our scandalous Criminal Justice System, an entity that drains the economic life blood out of the black community with unnecessary
attorney fees, court costs, and insane verdicts of prejudiced
judges? Just recently, an estranged woman decided to use the Criminal Justice System to get revenge on her former boy friend for dumping her for another woman. So what she did was to file an affidavit claiming that the former boyfriend fired gunshots into her residence in broad daylight. Now with no police investigation and never any 9-1-1 call from her residence, the cops charged the innocent man with four counts of aggravated assault. At the preliminary hearing on August 21, the accuser testified that all of the shots missed the house, only a few feet from the curb. She added that she was the only one of four occupants to hear the shots or to see anything. The judge's incredible verdict on the phantom attack: "I am dismissing two of the charges because two occupants clearly did not hear anything. I am finding probable cause on the other two counts." This is the kind of foolishness that happens to
ordinary citizens at the CJC every day but we have become immune to these kind of injustices. Instead we focus on high profile cases like John Elkington and ignore the plight of innocent defendants caught up in the web of our insane criminal justice system.

Mr. Collins has to have attorneys, because of all the lazy niggers inside MLGW, that have been riding the gravy train to long. They all want to sue for discrimination! That clerk that makes $60,000 a year is pulling the race card everyday. We know who you are bitch and you make us all look bad! You need to leave Sharonda alone and let her make her on decisions... you hateful bitch! I can't wait to see them walk your fat ass out the door! Change is gonna come! AMEN!

On and on it does, now it is the same thing over and over about Elkington. Earlier, it was over and over about Richard FIelds and the quarter billion dollar West Memphis whatever of Javier Bailey whose client is still getting food stamps. Tell me, is there even one successful investigative saga that was ever brought to even a conclusion, much less a successful one, on the behalf of Thug Matthews?

If John Elkington has some of that Beale Street money stashed away in a safe at his residence, maybe Chico Godwin's boys in blue can help recover these funds. You see, the latest ploy the Memphis cops have for their notorious illegal search and seizure procedures is to go to the homeowner's door, pretend that a
9-1-1 call originated from the residence and then barge in to check things out. If Elkington were to refuse their illegal entry, the cops would simply tell him that if he does not cooperate, they will huff and they will puff and they will blow his house in. Bingo! Before long they will search Elkington's house, find that safe with all the Beale Street money, seize it and carry it to police headquarters to be divided among Chico and his cronies. And all this without a search warrant! Amazing. Simply amazing!

John Elkington, John Ford the same said...

Elkington has said on record "All Beale Street Money is his money" (Memphis Flyer). Elkington stated "HE OWNS Beale Street (Memphis Flyer) Elkington has said on record "He has used the beale street money for his other businesses" (Court records) Elkington has taken the property out of his name and put it in his wife name, Valerie Calhoun (Memphis Daily News) Elkington long time lawyer, J. Richard Rossie whom was Elkington lawyer on Beale for 20 years has been INDICTED FOR THEFT & FRAUD for stealing hundreds of thousand's of dollars from his elderly clients(Commercial Appeal. Tell us why a jury trial Elkington, that's sooo funny. Remember, John Ford asked for a Jury Trial, you see what happened to Ford. When you're Guilty, you're just Guilty.

City of Memphis should be glad he is asking for a jury trial. This is going to be awesome. I want to be there in March. The entire city will get a chance to see Elkington squirm. Taxpayers will finally get justice.

Memphians needs to be watchful of this Elkington case. How many African Americans were indicted for stealing or taking money? Many of our representative was wiped out. I just don't understand any of this with Elkington. I just don't know how they allowed him to not pay any money for 25 years.

Before you send Elkington to the slammer, we want our money back. Every dime, every dollar.

Elkington will never be prosecuted for stealing all that Beale Street money. Wharton, with the help of the orca Myron Lowery, will see to that. Uncle Toms just don't care how much money whites get illegally from the city. But let a black man appear to be getting a few tainted dollars, and the Toms go on a feeding frenzy.

If Elkington paid out lots of money, it probably went to the officials you elected, by name, John Ford, Rickey Peate, Willie Herenton, Roscoe Dixon, Michael Hooks, etc.

Another election is coming up, you can bet the final tally will be the result of voted by color, by stupid people. Keep the A. C. connected to the cash register. Take that anyway you want.

John Candy was arrested by MPD for disorderly conduct for loudly arguing over a ticket, then chasing after the officer that gave it to him. Classy.

Elkington don't want a trial, don't Memphians know when they are being played. I guess not. If you have the goods on him as you say, look for a plea bargain.

I tell ya, with elkington being the biggest crook, why was the small crooks sent to the slammer. That poor Bower lady sent to jail for a measley few thousand dollars. This is crazy.

John "Maddoff" Elkington better enjoy the fruits of his thievery as Maddoff while he can. I hear they just sold Maddoff home where him and his wife reside. Elkington can run but he can't hide. Eventually, when you have done wrong, it catches up with ya. It just a matter of time.
