A search warrant obtained by Detective Jeff Dennison who swore to a judge that his statements of probable cause were true states that undercover police officers bought crack cocaine 6 times from Stanley Collins and associates 5 days prior to the raid on the Warren Apartments on October 23,2009.
What makes Detective Dennison's warrant a violation of the constitution,and a cause that should be investigated by A.C. Wharton is the fact that Dennison's claim of buying drugs from Collins is a lie because Stanley Collins had been in jail since October 15,2009 and still remains there. In fact Collins has no drug arrest history at all.There is no way at all that Stanley Collins could have sold any drugs to Sheriff deputies so the warrant is an unlawful document and the city should pay for the items destroyed when the home was hit.
This case makes you wonder how many times has the MPD violated the rights of citizens in the city? How many times have officers lied just to get in some one's home. How many persons are in jail based on MPD lies? Can MPD be trusted?I wonder if the new mayor is as concerned about this matter as he is about some damn dogs? I wonder if he will call for an investigation into this matter and fire Director Godwin like he did the director of the Dog Pound.

The Memphis Police Department has become an outlaw law enforcement agency with the full support of corrupt and incompetent judges at the notorious Criminal Justice Center at 201 Poplar Avenue.
Under the dictatorship of Larry Godwin, the MPD now prides itself on operating outside the boundaries of the United States Constitution. What we now have in Memphis is a police state headed in the direction of what happened in Nazi Germany during the Hitler era.
It should be kept in mind that in the Warren Apartments case, the MPD really did not have to get a fake affidavit from a crooked Shelby County magistrate or judge to illegally enter and search anybody's premises. You see, Larry Godwin's boys in blue have been using their latest ploy of telling a resident that a 9-1-1 call had originated from the residence and that they need to come in and check things out. Once inside with this lie, Godwin's goons search, seize, and squeeze,
all without the benefit of a search warrant.
The MPD is out of control because there is no longer any entity left in Memphis to challenge police infringement of citizens' civil rights. The new city mayor, A. C. Wharton, is a hand puppet of Godwin and Jack Sammons and Fred Smith. He owes them big time for getting Wharton III off the hook in that infamous Knoxville sexual predator case. He can do nothing in seeing that justice is done for our citizens.
As for the local NAACP, don't count on this irrelevant organization either. It is now the National Association for the Advancement of Cowardly Pussycats.
The only hope Memphians have left to curtail the Godwin dictatorship is to document all of the MPD's unconstitutional actions and sue Shelby County and the City of Memphis in federal court. The Keisha Davis lawsuit will be an important first step followed by many others.

A SECOND MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR LAWSUIT AGAINST SHELBY COUNTY AND THE CITY OF MEMPHIS IS ON THE WAY
Keisha Davis will have her day in federal court and so will many other African Americans if this train wreck of a criminal justice system is to be corrected.
And December 4 might well be a turning point in individual efforts to restore consitutional rights to the black citizens of Memphis. For it is on that date in one of the divisions of the Shelby County General Sessions Court that members of the United States Justice Department will be able to see for themselves how General Sessions judges and the MPD work in concert to deprive African Americans of the equal protection of the laws guaranteed by the Fourteenth Amendment.
In a little known case that might have national significance, a black male defendant will again be appearing before the judge that unlawfully created fugitive status for the defendant just to satisfy the whims of the MPD.
A defendant free on bond appearing in a judge's courtroom with an active arrest warrant that he is not aware of but that the judge is fully aware of is not a fugitive.
The judge did not have the option of ignoring the warrant and then putting the defendant on fugitive status as soon as he left the courtroom.
The judge is also guilty of sentencing discrimination. He wants to sentence this defendant to six months on a possession of controlled substance marijuana charge while the defendant's white buddy on the same charge was sentenced to 26 days time served and a $350 fine.
The defendant remains incarcerated on a trumped-up aggravated assault charge so ridiculous that the MPD did not even bother to investigate.
This is the state of justice at 201 Poplar Avenue. And this is why a second multi-million dollar lawsuit is being prepared to be filed in federal court against Shelby County and the City of Memphis.
I hope the lawsuit gets filed soon. MPD needs to pay for their mistakes. When you have an unethical, unprofessional Director then the police operations wil reflect the poor quality of it's leadership. I hope the MPD searches my house with an unlawful warrant because I need about 3 mil right now!

First of all, your article says he was incarcerated since October 15, the prison record says September 15. Maybe you should be sure the smallest things are correct before publishing. But, nevertheless, the warrant does not say when they started making the undercover buys. It is very likely they were making buys from Collins before he was locked up and the investigation had been going on for awhile.

MPD COPS OUT OF CONTROL
On October 10 a young black male was sitting in a car parked next to the building at 201 Poplar Avenue. He was a passenger waiting for the driver of the car to return from inside the building.
As he was sitting in the car minding his own business, he was approached by two cops.
"Motherfucker, why are you parked here? Get your ass out of this vehicle now and show me your driver's license."
The young man complied and presented his license, which when checked through the MPD computer revealed that the license was suspended.
"Nigger, this license has been suspended and I am arresting you for driving on a suspended license."
When the young man said he was not even driving the car, the only response he got as he was handcuffed was "Motherfucker, you
think we are stupid? You are driving this motherfucker."
On October 30 the young man appeared in Division 11 and asked the judge how he could be arrested and charged with driving on a suspended license when he was merely a passenger in a car.
The judge agreed and dismissed the charge. We still have some good judges at 201 Poplar Avenue but where have all the good cops gone?

When the tape rolls a man who introduces himself as Rickey Wiseman agrees to take this man to by some crack for twenty dollars. As the duo ride all around souuth memphis Mr. Wiseman finally finds some crack fir undercover 1318. Nowhere on this tape can I be found yet the grand jury still indicted me. I can say to any citizeb of Memphis TN. BLUE CRUSH is a tool used to lock up young black men. The law states that people who are arrested must have a fair and reasonable amount of bail. The factors that a judge must consider are likelihood of conviction, a defendants residency in the community, and his or her financial condition. At the time of this allegation I was unemployed, absolutely no assessts, and the only piece of evidence against me was a videotape without me on it. I was held on a 90,000 dollars bail for six months until I pled guilty for a felony drug case and six years probation. Anothr strike,4500 dollars wasted to Marty McAfee. All i can say is that Memphis is still what it always was a slave town and the white man is very much in charge of everything.

When a warrant is signed, all warrants are issued for Deputies to serve them at the first, but any LE can serve them also. Needless they told all vehicles on site and stated that they had pictures of drugs being sold there. No pictures, but i did get my vehicles back. What was left out is the fact that the white defendant was initially charged with possession of a controlled substance marijuana with the intent to manufacture, deliver, and sell, a felony. The judge reduced that charge to a

The black defendant was never charged with a drug felony but only had possession of controlled substance marijuana to deal with.
Neither of these defendants has any prior drug-related arrests in his file.
Discrimination against any American citizen, black or white, is unacceptable in our court system.

There is a double standard, a standard for white folks, and a standard for black folks, and it prevails in all facets of every day life, not just in the criminal justice system.
Before all of the schools in Memphis City Schools were air-conditioned, room temperatures in some classrooms would soar well above the danger point with students suffering and some black teachers passing out because of the heat. But the MEA had to have a white teacher to pass out before the school administration would shut down the school system.
Checking out at a department store, a white customer paid for her purchases with a credit card and no questions asked. A black person next in line trying to use a credit card was asked for all kinds of identification. The black customer told the clerk to kiss her ass, and that if she were not treated the same way as the white customer, the clerk could stuff the purchases up her ass.
White people will continue to deny the existence of the double standard, but it is there. It is an ugly remnant of the remains of the Old South. And it continues to suffocate the black community, especially in the area of law enforcement as well as justice at 201 Poplar Avenue.

That's why courts again and again have ruled for defendants (Cracker Barrel lawsuit and how appropriate a name for a retaurant to be sued for discrimination) suing a white business for racial bias.
When you experience the racism, don't sweat it, document it, gather the evidence and next thing you know, you'll be moving into their house in Germantown or Bartlett. Someone needs to personally sue Godwin for this mistake, so easily preventable if only his leadership was worth the weight of his Director badge. How easy is it to double sheck the who, what, when. where of an arrest warrant?
Let's give AC a year to lower Memphis's national ranking for its violent crime rate, give him a year to improve the business climate, and if the City continues to get worse and Godwin stays in power, Lord have mercy.

He could easily quietly retire but the man ain't done yet and wants to continue his public service. He's done more to serve in one day than you will in your hate-filled lifetime. That's what you want to happen? It's a good thing you're not a white cop assigned to patrol a poor neighborhood because you're weak ass won't make it.
It's also a good thing that not all white cops in MPD are just there for the fat salary. Some of them, may of them, believe in the calling to do good and to help with their God given talents and for them the salary is secondary to the job. They're not racists but you apparently are.
